  1. When you look at the big picture, it's not that bad (if they take Goff, IMO) Some team for whatever reason was dumb enough to give up a 2nd rounder for Badford. Losing Jenkins will replace the 3rd they lose next year probably. So all in all, they gave up 2 1's, a 2 and a 3 to get to pick 1. I don't think that's a bad deal at all. They see a QB they want and they're going to get him! I applaud it. I wish the Eagles would quit recycling trashy busts just cuz a team was stupid enough to make them the #1 overall pick at one time and get us some hope for the future. We aren't going anywhere with Bustford.
  2. To tell you the truth I didn't even consider RG3 that year. I was way too enamored with Luck. It was Luck or nothing for me in that draft. I would have gladly doubled the package they gave for RG3 to get Luck.
  3. I hear you and I agree for the most part. You just can't wait forever. Something has struck me about Goff since I have started watching him. I just see "it" in him.
  4. I can agree with that but I believe Goff can make this a good offense pretty quick. Wentz, I would like to see him sit at least half a year. I do get what you're saying but IMO Goff can make the Rams into a decent offense and we know the talent they have on the other side of the ball.
  5. That is my concern, dude.
  6. I have no trouble believing the Rams want Goff. What exactly is it that you Mel Kiper's don't see in Goff? I see a lot of NFL QB that still can't make the anticipation throws that Goff makes on a regular basis. That's a natural skill, you have it or you don't.
  7. Pump the brakes! That's a completely moronic statement to make at this point. Goff made NFL throws with a great detail of anticipation with no blocking. The right coach gets him and watch out! I don't recall a college QB doing as much with as little around him as Goff in recent memory. Don't sell this kid short due to the fact that he had a crappy team and system around him. The kid can play the QB position. If Goff was in last year's draft I would have him #2 behind Jameis Winston.
  8. Lloyd-without a long debate which isn't needed here, when was the last time the Eagles won a playoff game? Who was at QB? I understand that you can build a dominant defense and win with a broken down game manager and win a Super Bowl. How many times has this happened? I understand that you can put a lot of talent around an average QB and win a Super Bowl. How many times has this happened? I also understand that you seem to see the same elite QB year in and year out with legit chances to go to a Super Bowl and that's what the Eagles need.
  9. Hey, listen I totally agree. I said I was 99.7% sure it was for a QB but when you have the best LT prospect since Joe Thomas out there, you can't rule this out.
  10. Would you say that this is your biggest accomplishment in life?
  11. I just simply don't understand the people yapping on here about the Rams getting screwed. The Rams are taking a QB that they like at the #1 overall pick. They are making a move to be a contender. This move should be applauded. I wish the Eagles would grow a set, quit trying to recycle garbage at the QB position and trade up and get a guy that can get this team over the top. I applaud the Rams move here. I like all the picks that Titans got but I feel they will be sad that they passed on Tunsil.
  12. They had Orlando Pace at LT for how long? I think the Rams know what a franchise LT can do for a team. Especially with an offense that could be centered around Gurley.
  13. I remember reading Robinson might be moved to guard.
  14. Are we sure this is for QB? I am 99.7% sure that they traded up for Goff or Wentz but can anybody say that the Rams don't need a franchise LT? Is it possible Tunsil is the pick? If not, couldn't the Rams have got a better deal trading up to 2?
  15. Dude Sam Bradford was the #1 overall pick. I think the tools on here take pride in that. Any non-Eagles fan or anyone who understands the game knows Bradford is a major bust and throw in his durability, you have to be a moron to make a case for him being your team's QB.
