Recently made this over the past week, Jason Babin's highlights from 2011, one of the bright spots on our team this year

One of the few truly mean players we have on our defense.  Dude is a great player, and brings an element we desperately need.

Also, notice how strong his hands are?  How many sacks were there when he just threw the guy to the ground with his arms at full stretch?

awesome video!!! Even though Cole is my favorite defensive player, I think it's safe to say Babin has better mobility then Trent. He seems to be able to make sharper cuts to get to the QB and seems to be a tad bit quicker.

although he is a good pass rusher only in wide-9, but big hole in stopping the run

I agree completely but he is an elite pass rusher.  He's either a huge asset or a huge liability (*cough* Asante) and having him in the game on running downs is stupid to me.  That said, his body has completely changed since his first Philly run.  His burst is insane now and he's more powerful.  This is a 260 lb. guy who can ran a sub 4.6 at the combine.

How exactly is he a bright spot?....I know dude has 18 sacks, but he is NEVER doubled team.(mostly because Trent Cole is on the other side)....also he cannot stop the run for ish, his stats speak for themselves.... he has 18 sacks and 30 tackles HAHAHA

And no he is not an elite pass rusher......elite pass rushers are almost ALWAYS doubled or at least chipped.

I noticed there were no highlights of his play against the run. What a shocker.
And 1 thing I did notice is that 5 of his 18 sacks came when he was unblocked and another 2 came when his man slipped.
Not to mention that his 18 sacks came in 8 games. Which means he didn't have any in the other 8 games. Tough to be great when you are poor against the run and then only produce in with your specialty in just 1/;2 the games.

Listen, I'm not picking on the guy. But the fact is he is a pass rushing specialist and that is it. He shouldn't be the starter.

stfu, about he can't play the run. he did his job get to the qb.

and clay matthews shouldn't be mocking anyone, after the sheety season he had. he's a lb. and can't play the run for sheet. maybe if he gets back on the roids he'll return to his former self.
