I hope so too. If he can, Babin should watch out because Graham can actually play the run whereas Babin can't.

True but we've seen these he looks great articles before about Laws & before him Abiamiri & before him McDougle. Graham might well live up to expectations this year but history isn't exactly on his side.

Asham's hit on Schenn... it was the most flagrant hit of the night... cross-check to the chin, then a punch to the back of the head when Schenn was laying on the ice.

True but Neal's hit on Couts was pretty bad. Ran at him and left his feet to make the hit.

I swear I'm done after this...I love how Crosby decides to throw when the refs jump in in his fight with Groooooo.  Then him punking out with Schenn.
I think that a jaded announcing crew calling everything dirty speaks volumes to what will come down from the NHL.

Oh, for sure... but you watch... Asham will get suspended, and I'll guess Neal won't... they'll see it as a competitive advantage type thing if they suspend Neal.... they shouldn't, but I'll bet that's what happens.

Guanacaste... yeah, the Guanacaste beaches are where most of the general tourism is... my trip was much more nature-oriented, so I was mostly in the interior of the country... except for three nights near the mouth of the Tarcoles River north of Jaco...

It was my 6th trip to that fabulous country...

What's the airfare to fly there?  My wife and I are thinking about our next trip already.  Is it outrageous to fly to Costa Rica?

I'm not sure who punked out with who there... was like a mutual punk-out...

That's a linesman in the foreground... it appears the ref in the background drops his eyes to the puck... either way they blew it... they have a chance to rectify it now, but I don't think Flyers fans will be happy with what will happen... both Asham and Neal are having disciplinary hearings today... but I look for Neal to get off scott-free.
what might save Neal is that he was looking for the puck while hitting Coutsie.  I'll at least give him that, the puck is a lot closer to the play than that camera angle shows.  Still no excuse.

Yup and that's where not suspending Shea Weber will come into play.  The NHL has set a precedent that guys who are stars will get away with more.

I suspect so too. The only reason they might is because it's already 3-0 and then they can look like they do the opposite of what you and I suspect is their typical behavior.  For sure Neal doesn't get suspended if the series is 2-1. Now, not sure.

Like I said their lack of action in general will be prime exhibits in the inevitable lawsuits that will cripple hockey in 5-10 years.

No... it's not bad at all... I flew Spirit out of AC... it was around $550... but Spirit totally screwed me over on the return trip... I think in the $500-700 range round-trip is about right for CR... I've stayed at a few dozen lodges in Costa Rica, but not many on the beaches (not really my thing)...

My wife works as customer service for a online Caribbean travel company and she gets quite a few calls regarding Spirit.  It's to the point where she said we'll never fly that airline.

I was in CR for 10 days back in November into December.  It was very heavily nature geared, which is also my thing.  We spent a few days hiking in Corcovado to Sirena Ranger Station.  We drove from there to Monteverde spending a few days there exploring the cloud forests and then onto Arenal.  What a beautiful country.

I hope to make Africa my next adventure and then perhaps southeastern Asia.  What are you favorite areas of CR?  My airfare was similar, by the way.

That's so ironic you just posted his article. I was about to do the same, because this is something that often comes up at draft time.

To your point, we were just talking about that particular topic last week.

Definitely looking for a beach resort.  I would love the inland nature stuff but that would not fly with my wife.

Yeah.  She has been dealing with a lot of screw ups with them recently and that's really soured her opinion of them.  Can't speak on their past, but they're not on her Christmas card list right now.

I was at both Moteverde and Arenal on my last trip, but I've been all around the country... I prefer the mountains to the lowlands, especially the high mountains... Savegre Mountain Lodge is one of my favorite places... Corcovado is one of the few areas of the country that I've yet to get to...

Yeah, the Guanacaste region is all about beach resorts... it can be hot as hell there... and dry as a bone in the dry season...

From Tommy:

Fletcher Cox mentioned in a recent interview that Jim Washburn did go down and work him out.  This isn’t huge news to me.  Cox is such a perfect fit for the Wide-9 that I’ve assumed the Eagles interest in an almost factual way.  Kinda like if you tell me there’s a Megan Fox look-alike who sells pudding for a living…you know I’m interested.

they'll weigh in that both guys were able to come back into the game.  If either of them were to miss the next game, I think the suspensions would actually be "real."

I don't remember Asham being like that when he played here, do you?

Yeah, a bit... he's a good teammate, though... just lost his cool there... Asham is up for a match penalty... that's "intent to injure" as seen by the refs, so he'll get the gate I bet... I just don't see them suspending Neal...
