This isnt a fair question in my opinion (OP probably trying to stir up a Giant cruz fans/Eagles mccoy fans fight)... they are two upcoming stars with ridic potential

The last thing the Eagles need at this point is an injury to arguably the team's best offensive skill position player. The Eagles already dealt with the Madden Curse before when McNabb was on the Madden 06 cover.

Lesean is a top 5 RB. Cruz is outside the top 10 as a receiver. Advantage #25.
If we are factoring in team needs, as an Eagle fan you obviously have to go with McCoy because we don't have quality depth behind him at the position.

Cruz certainly played like a top 10 receiver last season.

The Eagles easily need McCoy more than they would need Cruz.

Mmmmmmm. Neither.
Reason being is McCoy is a nice player and IMO proven more than Cruz at this point. So I'd want him but not at the expense of Cruz.
Especially considering for the first 3/4's of last year the OL sucked wind and our running game was abysmal.
Now rewind 5-6 years ago or so when BJ was running for 5+ yards a carry and ripping huge runs behind that Oline - McCoy would be sick.
Reason being is McCoy is a nice player and IMO proven more than Cruz at this point. So I'd want him but not at the expense of Cruz.

You take the WR 10/10 times. I personally think Mccoy is a better talent for the position, but RB is nearly the last position where I would choose to have my best offensive talent.

My point it Manning was the best player in the division last year and should be next year as well. Cruz was/will be a product of Manning and McCoy, should Vick have another inconsistent year due to his being intellectually challenged and injury prone, will probably end up carrying the Eagles...

If the question was: who would you take for one season?....I'd take McCoy. But over a career, I'm thinking Cruz will get more mileage.
