Personally, since Lewis & McCoy are the same types of runners, I'd like to see an actual change-of-pace back at number 3.

And limiting mccoys load means throwing more, not running the same with a different rb. This is Reid.

Completely agree. We need a smashmouth RB to throw defenses off guard.

Depends how high you see RB as a priority.
Either way, we will add someone.

I think it's hilarious how some people think Benson would want to come to Philly to be a backup.
As for the topic, I'm fine with Lewis as the backup. It's not like he'll get a lot of touches, anyway.

It would make sense to have 2 guys who are fast and shifty.. And another who can pound the rock up the gut.

In the third...?! I wouldn't take him until the fifth.
Pierce, Turbin and Gray look to be better RB prospects that should be available in the third.
With that said, I'd be happy with Ganaway but taking him at 88 would be a reach IMO.

The point is, what if McCoy gets injured? Lewis has a similar skillset and can be put in with almost no change to the playcalling.

Heck, I addressed this on another thread a few weeks ago...let me go look...
But, ultimately, they need to bring in a vet...drafting a rookie who would most likely get cut would be a waste of a draft pick...
