Did the chris given you picked transfer from MIami(oh)?  Because I was looking at highlights and the chris givens from miami(oh) is pretty good.

There is a Chris Givens from Wake Forest and a Chris Givens from Miami of Ohio.

There was also a double named OT whose name I don't remember a few years back from both University of Miami (FL) and Miami of Ohio.

Maybe Miami of Ohio looks for same named prospects of a more starred recruit.

Found a mistake,  Taylor Thompson is listed as both a DE and TE and going to 2 different teams.   There is only one.

Also, I was thinking the draft was doctored to work out for Philly, but looking at the rest of the teams, they also seem to have worked out pretty well, prospect wise.  Better than what alot of more ballyhooed prognosticators have come up with.

After doing this "every pick" mock , You would be shocked  the wealth of WR that are out there.  I just couldn't use a high pick on a WR knowing there were plenty prospects out there....

Damn, your right....All those player researched, I did make a mistake.  I have to go back to the TE pick and adjust.  Though I like the SMU Kid
http://www.nfldrafts...=2012&genpos=DE

He still would be a great TE, I actually wanted James Hanna TE Oklahoma but thought Thomspson was a better...

I will go back and adjust.

I didn't even come close to doctoring it up for Philly....though some people might.  I went into it just picking the best player that made sense for each team , plus need.

If you don't believe me, just give the teams grades on the draft.  Thanks for the "Better than what alot of more ballyhooed prognosticators have come up with"  I, just hadn't seen that many full 7 rounders.

Thompson was a DE for SMU but doesn't project to DE in the nfl. I think he did play WR in high school so he might have decent hands for TE.

I don't see many mocks that go further than rd 3 anymore. Guess they don't bother since its a crapshoot, but it's still fun to see how others project it to fall.

Fixed the TE mistake....I have use landing hanna though I am interigued by a kid from Beliot, Derrek Carrier for the Colts, stead of Paulson.

So may player to chose from, I can see why no one really does a 7 rounder.

Some people take him as a DE but I would have him as a TE...kids got good skills and measurables

How I ranked the TE's

TE
Coby Fleener TE Stanford
Dwayne Allen TE Clemson
Orson Charles TE Georgia
Ladarius Green TE Louisiana-Lafayette
Michael Egnew TE Missouri
Deangelo Peterson TE LSU
Beau Reliford TE Florida State
James Hanna TE Oklahoma
Emil Igwenagu TE UMASS
David Paulson TE Oregon
Kevin Koger TE Michigan
Cory Harkey TE UCLA

I had Thompson ahead of Hanna, then there are the hybrids like Rhett Ellison and Evan Rodriquiz that I listed as FB/TE's:

Rhett Ellison FB/TE USC
Evan Rodriguez FB/TE Temple
Bradie Ewing FB Wisconsin
Chad Diehl FB Clemson

I don't see many mocks that go further than rd 3 anymore. Guess they don't bother since its a crapshoot, but it's still fun to see how others project it to fall.
Yea, I didn't see many either and when I see a mock with all the Eagles picks I think, "they just took a player with a 3rd round grade and just put him on the Eagles in the 3rd round.....very unrealistic.

For instance, I took Duke Ihenacho SS San Jose State with all intentions of getting Donte Paige-Moss DE UNC in the 6th but low and behold, Detriot took him 5 picks later.

I went into just concentrating on the pick at hand, not sliding people for "dream draft" sake.  It's tough not to think about who I wanted on the Eagles but , to have a good mock, you don't look past the next pick

Tough not to like Streeter. He is a freak. Considering he went only 10 picks later in my mock.  I just couldn't justify him in the 3rd with only one year experience under his belt at Miami.  I can see him going that high though.

Glad you like the draft.....A+ , wow!

OK, Draft Grades Individually....

Arizona Cardinals
Johnathan Martin OT Stanford
Jared Crick DE Nebraska
T.Y. Hilton WR Florida International
Matt Reynolds OT BYU
Blair Walsh K Georgia
Darius Fleming OLB Notre Dame
Markus Zusevics OT Iowa

Draft Grade – C+
Best Pick- Johnathan Martin OT Stanford
Worst Pick - Jared Crick DE Nebraska
Huh Pick - Blair Walsh K Georgia
The Cardinals had pressing needs at both OT positions, they address that by taking 3 OT in the draft. They should have taken a WR much earlier, plus an OLB earlier.  Crick is a nice pick but they could have gotten a back-up later on in the rounds. Jay Feely is 35, and they brought in competition with Walsh.

Atlanta Falcons
Orson Charles TE Georgia
Alphonzo Dennard CB Nebraska
Jeff Adams OT Columbia
Scott Solomon DE Rice
Quinton Saulsberry OC Mississippi State
Derek Dennis OG Temple

Draft Grade – C
Best Pick – Orson Charles TE Georgia
Worst Pick – Orson Charles TE Georgia
Huh Pick - Scott Solomon DE Rice
The Falcons were in need of a lot with very little picks.  They needed to find a potential replacement for Gonzo, so they reached for Charles simply because the draft is light with top flight TE’s. They need a future DE and I don’t know if Scott is the answer.  Should have taken the DE and OT much higher. Replenished depth on the O-Line was their saving grace.

Draft Grade – B+

Worst Pick – Bernard Pierce RB Temple
Huh Pick – Sean Cattouse FS California
If your worst pick is a really good RB to back up Ray Rice, then your doing pretty well.  The nab the ILB of the future, starting Center and some nice depth.  The only reason this wasn’t an “A”, was the fact that they could have drafted a WR earlier and a weak FS class prevented them from getting Reed’s eventual replacement.

Ok, Obviously the Bills need WR’s but 3 in the draft?  Is Reiff only a ORT when they need an OLT?  That will be sorted out. They load up with all their draft picks. Plus they get another QB in the mix. If Weedon were not going to be 29, he’d be a much higher pick in the draft.

Josh Norman CB Coastal Carolina
Donald Stephenson OT Oklahoma
Tank Carder ILB TCU

Best Pick – Melvin Ingram DE South Carolina
Worst Pick – Tank Carder ILB TCU
Huh Pick – Danny Trevathan OLB Kentucky
The Panthers nab, what some say, is the best DE in the draft. OG wasn’t the most pressing need but a need none the less.  OG Silatolu is flying up draft boards.  Solid picks to try to help out immediately except for Tank.  He may not get drafted at all but they take a late flier on him. Could have gone after a LB earlier than they did.

Ron Brooks CB LSU
Draft Grade – B+
Best Pick – Michael Egnew TE Missouri

The Bears probably should have taken an OT higher, actually at all!  Wright seems like a luxury after their offseason signing of a WR, but he fell too them.  Egnew is a very good TE in a shallow TE class. If you don’t get one of the top 5 TE’s , then, you might as well wait till late.  Would have been an “A+” if they got a OT.

The Bengals can’t go wrong with their first 5 picks.  To get the best OG, starting CB and WR….then go and get Polk AND Robinson? Landslide victory for them.  The only questions was in the secondary where they pick Asa, but people are high on him.  I didn’t like the DE picks but were needed and where they may end up in the real draft.

Holy amount of picks they have! They started out extremely strong with their first 3 picks. Richardson and Hill will have immediate impacts.  Draft “experts” aren’t as high on Trent as I am.  When you have a complete back, you take him. “experts” and I use that term loosely, are not on the Osweiler bandwagon.  I happen to think otherwise.  They went small scool on the late rounds which is always tough to predict and they didn’t get enough quality in the secondary.

Can Brockers be a DE in the 3-4?  I say yes, and that’s what this draft hinges on.  They made some nice subsequent picks.  For the lack of true NT’s in the draft, I have to score them high.  They got needs and depth and that’s all you can really ask for in the draft.

How High can you reach?  Well, the Broncos showed how high by selecting Jerel Worthey and Ladarius Green very high.  They did it out of need and it shows what happens when you draft by need.  Not that I don’ think they will be good players.  They REALLY needed Dt help and nab 2 of them.  Solid, but unspectacular draft.

The Lions had needs and filled them up properly.  This would have been an “A+” if I could read Donte Paige-Moss better.  If he’s a good player, then they may have the best draft vs. amount of picks.  They scored big homeruns with almost every pick.

Nice Draft, didn’t see them taking a RB first but I think they should.  They had a good draft and don’t need much on a 15-1 team.  They gained tons of depth at key need positions.  Not a fan of Reliford, but he may turn out better than I thought.  They get the best FS in a weak class too. Love their late round picks.
