No need to explain , the kid has amazing return skills. A lot of mocks have him going anywhere from the 5th-7th round.

Can't really cover. Needs a strong disciplined cast around him in order to freelance like he does. And he can take his nickname and cram it, the only badgers are the Wisconsin Badgers

Lavar Arrington is alot like this kid, a ton of skill, alot of talent, but he was allowed to freelance at penn st just like this kid does. It just doesnt pan out well in the structure of the NFL. If he shows a diffrent aspect to his game this year rather than just a very athletic kid i dont think we should spend a 1st or 2nd on him

yeah spend at least a 2nd or higher on the guy? no thanks i think with the core of CBs we have thats not a concern i have a feeling we will have way more important needs than a CB.

He will be a great special teamer but not sure I like him as a pure corner. I think he will need to be moved to safety in the NFL honestly.

And he's way too small to play safety. Listed as 5'9" and 175 which means he's smaller

i agree there's no way he could play safety in the NFL at his size, CB he would be fine..Brandon Flowers is only 5'9"

No thanks.
...and every time Musburger says "honey badger" it makes throw up a little in my mouth...He says it at least 14 times during a game...Count next time...but you already know.
I'm SOOOOO sick of both Musburger AND the "honey badger"....

I actually really like him, but we have to be smart about how he's used.

He isn't going to be a "shutdown" CB like Revis, Flowers, or Nnamdi. He's undersized, doesn't have great speed, and isn't a press CB.

However, he is a playmaker.

IMO, he's very similar to Finnegan. I think, in our system, he could be a very good slot CB. He'd match up very well with smaller WR's like Welker, Amendola, and our good friend in NY, Victor Cruz. Additionally, he's shown that he's more then willing to throw his body in against the run, and is a very good blitzer.

I really don't see him being a 1st or 2nd round pick in the draft. My hunch is he'll be passed on because he doesn't have the "measurables" like Claiborne, Peterson, Haden, etc. but he'll end up being a playmaker like Finnegan.

Flowers is 5 ft 9 and hes a top 5 corner. Ronde Barbe is 5 ft 9...i would say he did pretty well in the NFL?

I really think whoever drafts the Honey Badger will move him to be a "roaming" Free Safety, similar to Ed Reed's role

You just kind of contradicted yourself. Safeties aren't 5'9" cover corners can be, but TM isn't a cover corner.
He'll be a slot corner, a "roamer" like you described, but not a safety. More like Woodson than Reed

I really need the original poster to explain. If we use him as a Punt returner i would take him in the 3rd, otherwise he is not a good corner at all. He had better numbers cause teams passed on them alot. Look at the BCS game, he was the one they picked on. Their is a reason for that.

Yep, which is why I don't see us taking Mathieu unless for some reason DRC doesn't get extended.

The problem as I see it is they act like they're invincible, entitled, and have this sense of accomplishment. They act like nobody can do anything to them, they deserve certain things, and nobody can tell them any different.

Exactly because they act like since they're 20, 21, 22 or whatever they've seen it all, done it all, and know it all when in reality they know nothing.

I only saw him a few times but seemed like bama in title game went at him and won.He will have to get a agent now who's SMART enough to get this kid MONTHLY "pop up" drug tests and sit down and show him Burger King you want frys with that "Used to be stars" and what a real NFL player can make and explain with today's NFL your lame a** show will not warrant a high draft pick, no one wants commish's wrath coming down and suspended a player for 4 games +
