We had the first lounge which was constantly spammed by retards over nothing, yet the same people don't touch other schools over gross NCAA violations or sex scandals.

So, I shut it down.

The second lounge was around for a while, I just never posted in it. Got tired of the trolls from the first lounge.

Plus, it's awesome to see one lounge moderated so diligently, but the the Irish lounge overlooked. Sorry mods, it's the truth. I still love ya on everything else though.

As I only make about 3 posts a month here anymore anyway, I couldn't give a crap about a Lounge.

Don't they play Oklahoma next week? I imagine that will end their undefeated season.

Well I guess this will have to be the new "lounge.". Solid win today.  I wish Kelly would focus on the run earlier.  It seems like he has a little Reid in him and likes to try and set up the run with the pass.  Pretty happy about the fact that we have a great shot to go 10-2. OU will be a tough game and realistically I have it chalked up as a loss. Still love where this team is heading.

I don't know what happened to the ND Lounge on this Blog. The Mods/EMB deleted its thread. I can't find it at all.

I'm very happy with the teams' success thus far. There are 3 remaining games that will be a serious challenge for the Irish.

Oklahoma, BC, USC

If they can go into Norman and pull out a win, things will be a lot clearer for them. 1 game at a time.

I like the fact that we are underdogs heading into this weekend.  Although I am anticipating a loss, it is always good to have that "us against the world" mentality in a game like this.  We should still go 10-2 if we lose this one.  Also, watch out for Arizona this weekend.  I like them to beat USC OUTRIGHT, as Gargano would say.

Never thought of that - probably because I think ND will get jack hammered by Oklahoma this weekend - but it could conceivably happen.

Issue is they're so high in computer polls and would have then beaten SC and Oklahoma that I think they'd be good. I don't think they'd get leapfrogged though.

This coming from someone who thinks they're unworthy of rank right now and a team like Alabama would make them their girlfriends.

The only "buddy" I've ever brought onto any of "my sites" was Tommy Lawlor. If you don't respect Tommy, you're a f'ing moron.

Tommy has run IgglesBlitz and Scout'sNotebook for two years now. I don't know his writers at IgglezBlitz. I am still co-founder of Scout'sNotebook, but have no idea who David Svertsen is. If you have a problem with him, I don't care. Tommy brought on Gimpy as well. If you have a problem with him, I also don't care.

Also, Tommy and I post here a combined 10 times a month. So, if you're under the impression we're "trying to draw attention to our site" AT ALL with anything from here, you must be a complete dink at marketing.

Manti Te'o is a complete MLB. Can diagnose the play as well as anyone, great run stuffer, and has really upped his pass coverage as well as losing a little weight which has made him faster. Also a heart and soul type of guy, probably the best leader in all of college football.

Tyler Eifert is a really good pass catching tight end who improved his blocking a whole lot in the past year. Tall kid who will go up and get the ball with the best of them. Really good hands, catches all of the ones he should and most of the ones he shouldn't. Good redzone threat. ND has put out some good TE prospects over the last few years, Kyle Rudolph being the most recent. Also Anthony Fasano and John Carlson.

Stephon Tuitt can play defensive end and defensive tackle. Huge kid who weighs over three hundred pounds and is very athletic. Very solid all around game. Probably the best prospect after Te'o. He might even be better than Te'o when it is all said and done. Would love to have him and Te'o on the Eagles. Really think they are both going to be really good players, which I haven't thought about any ND players until last year.

Louis Nix is a DT who is also 300 lbs plus. Plays nose tackle in ND 3-4 scheme as well as DT when they play a 4-3. He is a good run stuffer, can occupy space very well, and has some upside pass rushing from the inside (gets a good push up the middle against guards and centers).

Prince Schembo Will likely be a 3-4 outside linebacke. Very athletic, can bull rush and speed rush well. Not great in coverage, but also not terrible. His greatest asset will be pass rushing. I kind of compare him to a Joey Porter when he was with Pittsburgh, without all of the dumb penalties.

Zeke Motta is a safety who seems to always be around the ball. Very rarely has mental breakdowns where he is out of position. Solid tackler and can be a big hitter. Kind of like Harrison Smith from the year before who went to Minnesota, except I believe Smith is a better playmaker.

Theo Riddick was used as both a running back and a slot reciever. Does many things well, but isn't great at anything. The best pass blocker of all of their running backs.

Cierre Wood is the best running back on the team. He is the most natural runner. Has great speed, average to below average pass catching, and really good vision running the ball.

Not only are your prospects off, but you're also missing half the real prospects for this year's draft. Just an FYI.
