Obviously the offense did not play up to expectations, but to me this wasn't that much of a shock.

Yes the Browns have a good D but they were also nicked up coming in.  Plus those INTs were more on Vick than the Browns.

As bad as that game was I'm not worried about most of the team.  If we had good QB play that game isn't close.

a lot of people were overlooking the Brown's defense. I'm not saying they are the best, but they are very underrated.

They actually ranked very high last year despite their offense not doing anything.  I still put the blame on Vick.

Can't tell if you are dumb enough to blame the Oline when the other team is bringing the blitz every play and the clueless QB doesn't know what to do.

Teams bring pressure for a reason. They bring more than that can be blocked... for a reason. You don't see teams doing that to real QBs because they will get burned.

Both the Oline AND Vick were bad. You can't say Vick sucks when the damn Browns D were able to get past our line so many damn times. Vick was horrible but he wasn't the only one. Don't be clueless

Yea it's true that if the other team is blitzing then clearly both the QB and the OC needs to collaborate on how to negate that and exploit it

This sadly.

The reason why I like the change in philosophy on defense is because like someone on the NFLN said in the off season blitzing isn't all that effective any more because it no longer confuses the good QBs.  I had hoped with a full off season Vick would improve.  So far its just more of the same and that's not good enough.

Blaming Vick or the o-line solely for the failure offensively is wrong. They were hand in hand in the crap effort that just took place. King Dunlap is Fing awful. And they shot themselves in the foot repeatedly with penaltys. Vick made some of the dumbest decisions you will ever see, even if you are getting pressured early, don't force the Fing ball into coverage, throw it away, take a sack, but don't throw it in between three browns. The only positives is that both sides kept it together when it mattered most.  And the refs called every little bit of holding unfairly on the line.
