At this point in the season I would like to see added via draft....

Taylor Lewan  OT  6'7' 314 Michigan Can play both sides....

Joseph Fauria TE  6'7" 258 UCLA   Yea , a stud TE.... The value will be there over WR

Jonathan Brown  OLB  6'1" 238 IL Instinctive sideline to sideline machine who can cover also.

Just going to mention Lewan, he would be a good fit for the Mudd system.

Agree 100%.  We really need to shore up the line with some solid depth.  Dunlap is nice but he has been in the league long enough now where we know what we will get.  I would rather see a young player with upside than Dunlap back next season.

Exactly.

I'd have no problem bringing Dunlap back as depth either, but we MUST get a legit OT prospect on the roster.

So, right now....

Needs:

- A third talented linebacker on the roster (as opposed to the drech we have behind Ryans and Kendricks) to play WILL and back up the other two
- A safety that is better than Coleman
- OL depth in the form of a quality OT

Wants:

- A big WR to challenge Avant and give opposing defenses a different look

That's exactly what we need but CB could become the most pressing need. There is no way the Eagles pay Nnamdi $15m next year. He will have to take a huge pay cut or he's gone. I'm sure they will look to slice that salary in half. Then you have DRC who's a free agent. He has to be our top priority but what if they can't get a deal done? Do you franchise DRC? Not sure he's worth it but then again DeSean wasn't either. You can't go into 2013 with Marsh and Boykin/Hughes as your starters.

As of right now I could see this for next offseason figuring the Eagles miss the playoffs again.

1. Reid and the entire coaching staff is gone and maybe even some of the front office may be purged too.

2. Vick will be done in Philly, a new coaching staff will want to go in a different direction. Foles with get the first shot but expect QB early in draft.

3. Nnamdi will be asked to redo his contract or he's also gone. I think he will restructure his deal.

4. Bell and his over paid self will also be gone.

5. Re-signings: DRC, Dorrenbos, Jordan, and Hughes. The Eagles will have plenty of cap space before the cuts now they have even more for key players.

6. With the CBA requiring teams to spend I think no less than 90% of their cap I think. The new coaching staff will see a real need for playmaking vets at key spots and have the space to sign them. The Eagles go big and and sign Dwayne Bowe and Erin Henderson. The birds finally get that big physical WR they've lacked since T.O. and Henderson provides them with the final piece missing in the front seven.

7. The draft IMO will be like last BPA.
a.) Ricky Wagner OT - The birds desperately need an upgrade at tackle and Wagner would start at RT and we slide Todd back to LG where Mathis has      looked average.
b.) E.J. Manuel QB - This is obviously a pick the new coach wanted to make just in case Foles chokes. Manuel has skills just needs coaching and time.
c.) Duke Williams S - I like Coleman but he needs to be a backup, we really need a complete guy out there.
d.) The rest C, G, TE, DT

The teams holes have been filled in this scenario, but everything would hinge on Foles development. I think McCoy will be leaned on even more to carry the team, but will just help our young QB and solid defense.

Agree that o-line biggest priority in draft, but since Vick isn't likely to return they'll need to spend another high draft pick on a QB.  If one of the top QBs are within Eagles reach in the 1st then they may have to grab him and go for second tierTackles in later rounds

Dwayne Bowe has decent size but if you think you're getting a physical WR like CJ or TO you're dead wrong. Much like Maclin, Bowe is afraid of taking a hit.

Chance Warmack, OG  6'3" 322
Alex Hurst  OT  6'6" 338
Eric Fisher OT 6'7"  313

Picks 1,2,3.....

The next Qb must be protected.

Team in free fall.

They need a big WR.

They need safeties.  Plural.

These players aren't on the roster.

The OL situation can be solved with players on the roster. If Peters, Herrremans, Watkins and Kelce comeback healthly, then the issue becomes one of depth, not talent.

Maybe the same with Foles at QB.

Unfortunately, this draft is not rich with QBs and WRs.

I agree with you regarding QB's but we should be able to get a big WR in rounds 3 or 4.

Da'Rick Rogers, Marquess Wilson, Aaron Dobson or Marcus Davis. Rogers and Wilson were originally rated R1 or R2 talents but have dropped due to their 'issues'.

Couple of small-school sleepers would be Aaron Mellette and Tyrone Goard.

WR is one of the least pressing positions on the roster.  Jackson and Maclin may not be the best duo in the league, but they're OK as a starting duo.

OL is easily the biggest concern.  Watkins got freaking benched and is a bust.  Mathis is old and on the downside.  Peters is old and coming off two major injuries.  Kelce is coming off a major injury.  And Herremans is old and injured as well.

We need at least two high picks on the OL, or a major free agent signing and one draft pick.

No way, DB is far and away the biggest concern. You have 2 of the worst starting safeties in football, Nnamdi will be cut and there's no way you re-sign DRC. DRC has no heart and he can't tackle, neither can Nnamdi.

At least the OL has 3 starters coming back off injury. Mathis is serviceable and you need a RG. 4 out of the 5 spots are ok. In the Defensive Backfield, you're 0 for 4. They all suck.

We should draft a DT because we all know TATE's fetish for DT's.  That and big WR's to do jump balls in the end zone.

At this point if they only drafted Offensive Linemen, Cornerbacks and Safeties in April, I'd be OK.

I don't see a QB in this draft better than Foles.  They are well stocked at the skill positions - a big WR is a luxury at this point, not a need.  Even if Peters, Kelce, and Herremans return, they need to replace Watkins (uggh!) and add quality depth.

Like what I see from Graham, Cox, and Thorton.  With Cole, Jenkins, Hunt, etc. on the team, another DL wouldn't have the impact a quality DB would have on this team.

Oh really, and just how often do we see players like Megatron and Fitzgerald come along huh?  Geeze, nothing like EMB to come up with this "big reciever" junk.  These guys are freaks of nature, and might I add franchise players taken in the top 10 of the draft.  Where oh mighty "Nicks"? Don't get your hopes up on DRC.  He will jet for a better deal, and a better opportunity to win a SB.  our only option would be to franchise him.

Expectant moves:

1) Resign Dorenbos.
2) Cut Vick
3) Trade/Cut Jordan or Chaney
4) Sign a veteran OT and/or OG prior to draft
5) Sign/trade for a veteran S and/or SS.

We are going to be shedding a ton of cap.  This should leave some room to get a few pieces in FA.  I am not banking on us getting major players due to our coaching instability.

I was thinking about this yesteray when they talked about prospective coaches.  If Chip Kelly gets hired, wouldn't he want an athletic QB who can run his up-tempo offence?  OH OOOS, might we see Vick again, lol.  This is def. going to be an interesting off-season.

Don't you read TATE?  Guys like that are available every year after the 4th round.  We just need to coach them up.
