No it doesnt. Because anytime a team was losing and needed to stop the clock you could just go up to the opposing team and punch them in the face to stop the clock.

The clock does stop. If they want to keep punching them in the face and getting ejected and giving up automatic first downs and 15 yards they are welcome to do that.

1. On kickoff, clock does not start until the ball has been legally touched by player of either team in the field of play. (In all other cases, clock starts with kickoff.)
2. A team cannot buy an excess time out for a penalty. However, a fourth time out is allowed without penalty for an injured player, who must be removed immediately. A fifth time out or more is allowed for an injury and a five-yard penalty is assessed if the clock was running. Additionally, if the clock was running and the score is tied or the team in possession is losing, the ball cannot be put in play for at least 10 seconds on the fourth or more time out. The half or game can end while those 10 seconds are run off on the clock.
3. If the defensive team is behind in the score and commits a foul when it has no time outs left in the final 30 seconds of either half, the offensive team can decline the penalty for the foul and have the time on the clock expire.
4. Fouls that occur in the last five minutes of the fourth quarter as well as the last two minutes of the first half will result in the clock starting on the snap.

A team is kneeling on the ball on 3rd down with 50 seconds left to run out the clock for the win and all the D has to do is immediately jump off sides and stop the clock at 50 seconds instead on 10. How can that be.

Actually I think there's a 10 second run off and the clock keeps running in that situation. Hmmm now I'm confused

I would hope the offense wouldn't line up with 50 seconds left if they have the full play clock as you suggest. In this case if they kicked the QB in the nuts it would result in a first down and they would eventually run the clock out. I believe that #3 above is now 40 seconds and not 30 as well.

Think harder............ Kick the QB in the nuts and you give the O a free first down so they can continue to kneel it. There aren't many defensive penalties that don't result in a first down. Even the ones that don't give you a free second try at the play and if done twice often then result in 10 total yards for another 1st down.

they didn't lose the challenge. They should have. he clearly wasn't down on the 5 but they did not over turn the call on the field and move the ball a half yard further

I noticed that too. On the replay I could see the scoreboard clock go from 1:56 to 1:55, so it was ticking...
Still, somehow the Eagles ran two plays in :05. Ravens fan clock management.
