Roll Tide Roll. Boy, that SEC cant stop playing powerhouses. Alabama plays a bottome top 20 team in Michigan then they play a WAY overrated Arkansas team. Now if Notre Dame finishes with one loss, and you compare their schedule with Alabama theyshould be miles ahead! But the SEC always gets the breaks. It makes me sick to compare Notre Dame and Boston College academics vs. Alabama and LSU. What a friggin joke!

How soon do ND fans forget what happened to them when they used their cheap BCS rules to get into BCS games.

so Alabama is overrated but Notre Dame isnt??? That is laughable. Bama would destroy Notre Dame by several touchdowns. I don't care if Notre Dame can take care of business against overrated B1G teams. If they had to play any of the top SEC teams they would get smoked.

Did Penn State wrong you in some way? Kick you out of school? Deny your application? Because you have this almost obsessive vendetta against them.

Oh wow....Alabama's schedule...
Michigan, 2-2, W. Kentucky(Sun Belt), Arkansas, (1-3), Florida Atlantic(Sun Belt), and they finish with a toughy next to last game-Western Carolina. LSU is probably overrated, too. And the person that said they would beat ND by 30-40 points....I think he meant the combined IQ of the Bama team together with the LSU Tigers might be 30 or 40. But they have 2 upstanding academically minded coaches in Saban and Miles(Please come back Mathieu).....and "just don't get caught with that new Chevy from Tuscaloosa Tim's Chev/Buick.
BTW, never even attempted to go to Penn State....preferred the one of the top 20 Universities in the World that I attended.
p.s. oh yes, we have the big Ole Miss at home coming up. Didn't they get smoked by Texas?

dude, don't be so quick to jump at me....I was referring to Bama, hence the thread about bama?

Anyway, The SEC powerhouse are above any team or conference...see the last 5 BCS champs.

I hope ur not referring to ND being good and having a tough schedule, are you?

I'm not knocking anyone. Bama might be the best team, but the way they get there-great weather conditions, hardly any travel, lower academic standards. God they even played Michigan in Texas. Anyway, I propose Equal academic standards across the board, because isn't education what college is all about?

BTW, Bama could go into South Ben, Ohio St. & Penn ST and kick those teams asses up and down in the winter

The Beautiful, honorable SEC:

Deon Johnson, an Alabama Class of 2013 commitment, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape Wednesday.

ohnson was booked at 10:41 a.m. ET and is being held without bond, according to the Baldwin County Corrections Center online jail log.

It marks the second time the 19-year-old wide receiver has been arrested this month.

Johnson was arrested Sept. 6 and charged with second-degree rape and second-degree sodomy. He was released on $20,000 bond and is still enrolled at Spanish Fort High School in Alabama. He returned to his high school team last weekend, scoring a touchdown on a 55-yard run in a 49-14 win over Faith Academy.

AND THE SOUTH STILL LETS HIM PLAY. HOLY FRIGGIN WOW! AS IF SABAN DID NOT KNOW THIS MORON'S HISTORY. YOU LOST THE WAR - GIVE IT THE F UP...............................I really do not want to hear another word about the immoral, corrupt, lacking in academic standards, SEC!!!!!!

So was Jimmy Clausen when he was in high school. Notre Dame and their fans were creaming in their pants for months until his arrival. Being 19 and in highschool isn't that uncommon.

Clausen started school when he was six, repeated a grade, too. None the less I would love to compare the two said player's grades and SAT's, and see how Clausen would have walked right into Alabama questions unasked, and how the other guy would not even get a second look at by ND. Let's face it, there's no comparison in standards, when it comes to the SEC and other conferences. Just listen to the interviews.

When you watch a CFB game, and they show the players stats , do you scream, I WANT TO SEE HIS SAT , GPA AND HIS CLASS SCHEDULE?

Or is it a racist thing against blacks?

You're a ND fan, last time they won a Nat Championship they had a black QB, DId Quinn and Clausen win one?

Rodney, why do you make it a Black/White thing? I couldn't give a crap about whether the ND QB was Black or White. Stop making it more than what it is-a LOWER quality of Standards in the SEC for acceptance.! All I scream is Equal standards among ALL universities. And if you are so concerned about black vs white quarterbacks, how many black quarterbacks have won the Super Bowl and the NCAA championship. So dont lecture me about black vs white quarterbacks. Vick will NEVER win a Super Bowl in Philly!

Bottom line, schools are like this EVERYWHERE. I'll wage even your beloved ND has a few players with questionable test scores. But your jealousy of Bama and the rest of the SEC powerhouse are obviously blinding you

Wait what?

If anything it sounds like you have a predetermined judgement and bias on a North/South ethnocentrism not a race factor, although your last sentence makes me wonder.

Hey dumbazz...It was a spurned lover who he dated, and a year after the sexual contact, she calls the cops because she was underage and he wasn't.

You should read up on the case before judging a human being.

You know I couldn't give a f*** if the Bama nation gets its rocks off this year again......I SAW ND beat Alabama in the Orange Bowl when Jim Lynch played LB for ND. I don't want to talk about the sleaze ball coaching/recruiting that the SEC employs just stfu and leave it be. Some schools ARE only concerned with Bowl Games and not the best interests of their students.......you know it and I know it, so stfu!

Lol completely taking a quote out of context, you would fit right in over in TATE. And Bear Bryant died in like the 80's, I'm not really sure why you brought him up. We are talking about this season, in which if ND were to play Alabama, championship or otherwise, they would get spanked by 20+ points.
