I think its clear that we need to go in a totally different direction meaning new coach, offensive coordinator and QB
We MAY have the QB puzzle solved but who would people like to see as the next Eagles Head coach?

Please do NOT say Bill Cowher

Well, hopefully Jeff Lurie is now seing clearly without Joe Banner's blinders or his wife's Vera Wang cheerleader outifts clouding his vision.

Lets just move the team to LA and start over.  Why not heck its the end of the world we got our asses handed to us by a very tough defense today that also shut down Tom Brady who's put up 30 points on Baltimore tonight.

Either of them really. They both suck. But mainly Jon, people are obsessed with him for some reason.

I love how people cry about getting a new head coach but don't have any suggestions.

One bad game on the west coast and a major overhaul is called for.  But in the ADD world of TATE, if we beat NY next week, all will be forgotten.

This is not necessarily a bad thing.  Stop chasing good money after bad just because you fear the unknown.

Plus, he punched an assistant coach, so he can keep Marty in line.

Also, if Reid was to get fired the new HC would more than likely not retain Juan and Marty, Bowles could be promoted to DC though.

I am trying to think of some other Assistants that would be a good choice..........

We have a great D too, or would have with the right guy, either as a DC or HC.

How about Norv Turner as an OC if he's let go by the Chargers?

It is obvious that Andy Reid is not going to learn from his mistakes.  Unfortunately his mistakes make him predictable and he is extremely unlikely to EVER win a Super Bowl with his coaching style.  We all know his contract is up at the end of next year, but we also know Lurie has made public statements about Andy Reid's job status.  Well, I have compiled a list of potential replacements.

Curtis Modkins - Offensive Coordinator (Bills)
Dave Wannstedt - Defensive Coordinator (Bills)
Kevin Coyle - Defensive Coordinator (Dolphins)
Mike Sherman - Offensive coordinator (Dolphins)
Josh McDaniels - Offensive Coordinator (Patriots)
Matt Patricia - Defensive coordinator (Patriots)
Mike Pettine - Defensive Coordinator (Jets)
Tony Sparano - Offensive Coordinator (Jets)
Cam Cameron - Offensive Coordinator (Ravens)
Dean Pees - Defensive Coordinator (Ravens)
Jay Gruden - Offensive Coordinator (Bengals)
Mike Zimmer - Defensive Coordinator (Bengals)
Brad Childress - Offensive Coordinator (Browns)
D Jauron - Defensive Coordinator (Browns)
Todd Haley - Offensive coordinator (Steelers)
D LeBeau - Defensive Coordinator (Steelers)
Rick Dennison - Offensive Coordinator (Texans)
Wade Phillips - Defensive Coordinator (Texans)
Bruce Arians - Offensive Coordinator (Colts)
Greg Manusky - Defensive Coordinator (Colts)
Bob Bratkowski - Offensive Coordinator (Jaguars)
Mel Tucker - Assistant Head Coach/Defensive coordinator (Jaguars)
Jerry Gray - Defensive Coordinator (Titans)
Chris Palmer - Offensive Coordinator (Titans)
Jack Del Rio - Defensive Coordinator (Broncos)
Mike McCoy - Offensive Coordinator (Broncos)
Brian Daboll - Offensive Coordinator (Chiefs)
Greg Knapp - Offensive Coordinator (Raiders)
Jason Tarver - Defensive Coordinator (Raiders)
Hal Hunter - Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line (Chargers)
John Pagano - Defensive Coordinator (Chargers)
Bill Callahan - Offensive coordinator/offensive line (Brokebacks)
Rob Ryan - Defensive coordinator (Brokebacks)
Perry Fewell - Defensive coordinator (Giants)
Kevin Gilbride - Offensive coordinator (Giants)
Jim Haslett - Defensive Coordinator (Redskins)
Kyle Shanahan - Offensive Coordinator (Redskins)
Rod Marinelli - Asst. Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator (Bears)
Mike Tice - Offensive Coordinator (Bears)
Gunther Cunningham - Defensive Coordinator (Lions)
Scott Linehan - Offensive Coordinator (Lions)
Dom Capers - Defensive Coordinator (Packers)
Tom Clements - Offensive Coordinator (Packers)
Bill Musgrave - Offensive Coordinator (Vikings)
Alan Williams - Defensive coordinator (Vikings)
Dirk Koetter - Offensive Coordinator (Falcons)
Mike Nolan - Defensive Coordinator (Falcons)
Rob Chudzinski - Offensive coordinator (Panthers)
Sean McDermott - Defensive coordinator (Panthers)
Pete Carmichael, Jr. - Offensive Coordinator (Saints)
Steve Spagnuolo - Defensive Coordinator (Saints)
Bill Sheridan - Defensive coordinator (Buccaneers)
Mike Sullivan - Offensive coordinator (Buccaneers)
Ray Horton - Defensive Coordinator (Cardinals)
Mike Miller - Offensive coordinator (Cardinals)
Brian Schottenheimer - Offensive Coordinator (Rams)
Vic Fangio - Defensive Coordinator (49ers)
Greg Roman - Offensive Coordinator (49ers)
Darrell Bevell - Offensive Coordinator (Seahawks)
Gus Bradley - Defensive Coordinator (Seahawks)

Obviously some of these guys would not fit as a head coach of the Eagles.  However, several options are out there.  I didn't even list all of the assistant head coaches and positional coaches that are on team rosters and this is just in the NFL.  I know some people are scared to move on from Andy Reid because of arguments like "but what if we go back to the Kotite years".  That is definitely a possibility, but Reid has shown me that him winning the Super Bowl is a severe improbability.  I'm willing to take that chance.

Lot of names, I'd have to say no to, Sean McDermott, Bruce Arians, Josh McDaniels and anyone else from the Ryan family, Rob & Rex are just like Buddy. I'm also not sold on Kyle Shanahan, Mike Tice,  Wade Phillips and Todd Haley. I think Lebeau's age would come into question. Remember, the party boat scandal that went down under Mike Tice's watch in Minnesota? Josh McDaniels sent Brandon Lloyd and Brandon Marshall down the road and drafted Tebow. Wade Phillips is a better DC than a HC.

I do like, Ray Horton, Greg Roman, Kevin Gilbride, Perry Fewell, Mike Nolan and Cam Cameron, eventhough Cameron's play calling is questionable from time to time. I also wouldn't mind Norv Turner as an OC if he's fired from San Diego.

Wade Phillips - Defensive Coordinator (Texans)

Wouldnt mind having Wade, but i dont think he would leave the situation he's in now.

Dom Capers - Defensive Coordinator (Packers)

Same thing with Dom as Wade Phillips, but he wouldnt leave Green Bay.

Vic Fangio - Defensive Coordinator (49ers)

Just wanted to say, he is probably the most underrated defensive coordinator in the NFL.

I'm definitely with you on these names.  For the sake of discussion though I figured I'd add every OC and DC currently employed in the NFL.

It is a possibility, but I'm not sure if Lurie would promote one of Andy's coordinators.  I have a feeling he'd look outside the organization for a new head coach.

Understood, I was just thinking, what if we promote Bowles to DC? Hire a defensive minded guy like Lebeau or Horton, then grab an OC, like a Kevin Gilbride? Then too I agree, the new HC would most likely want his own guys
