The QB must have had 5 penalties that weren't called

BS pass interference call put them at the 1. If anything it looked like offensive PI.
Popular teams get these gift calls way too much. Its like the NCAA protects their interests. Just horrible.

It was the correct call in the Ohio State game, but only because the QB can't throw a fade pass correctly (he threw it way too far inside). So basically the WR went from engaging the DB so he could have position to go back outside (where the ball should have been thrown), to being unable to get to the ball because the DB still was holding contact with him.
Lucky? Yes. Stupid? Yes. Correct? Yes.

It was not correct. The WR initiated contact and then came back for the ball and OSU got a gift. Again, the WR initiated the contact while the ball was in the air and pushed off. If anything its offensive PI or you let it go.
The jewel of the Big 10 was not going to be allowed to lose at home to Purdue.
Chalk up 2 more big penalties for them the next week against PSU.
Ohio State is the only Big 10 horse in the race and they can't even place. They are protected. Its a joke.
College football has become shameless

Cry some more. Who's your team that you're so worried about Ohio State?
Yes, I graduated from Ohio State, but I am a Michigan fan- since the day I was born. If you can't understand what occurred and why it was called that way, then there's no point in arguing. The refs never call PI on fade passes unless there is a blatant move that disrupts the play. In this case, it was the DB not allowing the WR to get to where the ball was (poorly) thrown. The DB didn't even attempt to go for the ball. That's why it was Defensive PI- because the QB couldn't throw a proper pass.

FML. I can't stand how badly this game ended. There's no way these calls weren't intentional.

Until you can show me no other team professionally or amateur besides ND that doesn't get the benefit of questionable calls at home, please STFU!

On a special teams play you're allowed to have whoever you want on the field, although I have no idea what Chris Brown - a wide receiver - would be doing in to block a FG. Elijah Shumate is 22, our safety.
Either way, you can have both side's personnel on if you want to on special teams plays.
So, that would have been Bennett Jackson (CB) and Chris Brown (WR).
I've never seen Chris Brown in on special teams before, but I'll take your word for it. Still completely legal.

You really are dense, aren't you? Because the referees (what this thread is about- one that YOU created) and Notre Dame KNEW years ago Barkley was going to be the starting QB and a Heisman hopeful, yet he was going to have mostly mediocre games this year and sit this one out with an injury... right?

In fact, how about all the SEC teams scheduling patsies on the same week?
