Skins fan should be happy they got the franchise QB they been wanting, just need to make sure you build a team around him..

He's awesome and I'm not trying to reign on his parade, but I remember a time when a guy named Michael Vick took the league by storm and was revolutionizing the position, making defenses look silly, etc.  I remember not long ago when Vince Young was approaching unstoppable and taking the league completely by storm.  Last year Cam Newton blew everyone away with his arm and legs and now he's suddenly come back down to Earth.  The true test for Griffin will be whether he can continue to develop his game as a pro pocket passer, because eventually defensive coaches are going to devise ways to cut down on his rushing yards.

He's a monster. That was the most I've seen of him all season, and damn, that dude already has it together in pretty much all areas. I will say, however, that they better reign him in a little bit with his penchant for running and taking hits, because he's gonna have a short career if he keeps taking those chances.

The play where his knee bent was really scary today.  The Skins are putting him in to much danger IMO.  They should never call inside runs for him.  The offense they are running is so great vs the Giants because of our DE's tendancy to shoot gaps.  (OSI) but overall I think once RG3 becomes comfortable in a regular pro offense he will be close to unstoppable as we have ever seen in the NFL.  I understand people saying well we thought this about Vick, but I think RG3 is better than a rookie Vick.  At least in my opinion.

I don't think he'll be a great QB if 50% of the plays he runs are in the pocket, and 50% are out of the pocket. Just doesn't work like that in the NFL.

RG3 is good, but he hasn't impressed me that much where I'd call him unbelievable. Andrew Luck is miles better at this point for people that really know and understand the nuances of football.

RG3 is the equalizer that the Redskins have been looking for at QB. Four the last 12 years, the Redskins have been stuck with pretty much the most washed up quarterbacks alive. People like Patrick Ramsey, Mark Brunell, Brad Johnson, Jason Campbell, Todd Collin, Jon Beck, and Rex Grossman. Finally they have a guy with a strong arm and athleticism. I really do think they have the chance to make some power moves in the NFL in the coming years. They now have a good quarterback, a few good running backs (Shanahan's specialty), and some impact receivers.

Mike Shanahan has really built a good offense around him. He must stand the test of time though, as Vick looked unstoppable not too long ago.

RG III is the real deal, it tastes horrible coming out of my mouth but the kid is legit.

But he better learn fast that these hits will shorten your career or else he won't last long. I too agree that the next 2-3 years will determine his overall grading because Vick, Young, Newton all took the highlight reel by storm but look at them now. RG III has to realize that QB's that stay upright last longer in this league.

Funny how you compare him to every black qb you can find...did you watch rg3 handle things.....when he had concussion he apologized to his teammates ....the guy is so smart....he takes responsibility for his actions...unlike cam newton....so shut up....stop the stereotype...he is not like vick nor newton nor vince young....if u notice andrew luck also ran yesterday for 2tds....but since he is white we cant compare him to griffin.....

Probably because after his 1st 7 games Cam had accounted for 2,242 yards of total O with 15 TDs (to RGIII's 2,069 and 13) and everyone was already annointing him the best thing since sliced bread too, but if you want to make it about race well then knock yourself out (please).

RG3 is the new unknown in the NFL, but once defenses see more film on him and get some game experience against him they will figure him out, Scam was the OMG new prototype QB last season this year he sucks....defenses catch up...
