They just did another one where we take CB DeMarcus Milliner at #10.

After last night, I'm more convinced than ever that we go OL with our first pick.

Milliner would be great for this defense; what were the results last time the Eagles drafted a cornerback in the 1st round? I do think OL is a good possibility though, Jake Matthews would be a great selection for a RT and then the Eagles could move Todd Herremans back to guard where he belongs.

As much as I would like to draft a top 10 corner, the O-Line is a mess and has to be addressed early, and often.

OL and safety are the biggest needs, but all the good safeties will be gone by the Eagles 2nd pick.

Howie is gonna really have his work cut out for him this offseason.

The only thing this team has done really well in Andy's tenure is fleece teams in trades.  Lets hope we can pull off a couple good ones this off season and get and extra couple of 2nd round picks.

I'd pick Milner if he's there if not aim for the best tackle if there both off the board drop back in 1st pick up some picks(future1st or 2-3 for that year) and pick up the best interior lineman (warmack maybe) or safety(couple good ones available in mid first to mid second so if we pick up extra picks we might be able to hold off on safety if we have a shot at an elite lineman

OL and safety are the biggest needs, but all the good safeties will be gone by the Eagles 2nd pick. Matt Elam of Florida is currently #52 on CBS/Draft Scout ratings. He'd be a nice pick-up in R2 for us.

I was looking this morning, Vacarro could go anywhere from mid 1st to 2nd.

I think I draft

Rhodes
Vacarro
Ricky Wagner

My #1 hope though is somehow getting Jake Long in FA.

You know that would be fine getting Long if Peters isn't gonna make it back.  You wouldn't pay him starting LT money to play the right. It would be nice because we would'nt have to worry about the tackle spots and Herremans could play LG. We could have a lineup of Peters,Mathis,Kelce,Herremans,Long.  Nice pipe dream..

Walter's latest 3- round mock has us taking the following:-

1. Joeckel OT
2. Elam S
3. Bennett Jackson CB (Notre Dame).

I'm definitely on board with the first two picks, but have very little knowledge of Jackson, who has arrived seemingly from nowhere to figure at #80 in CBS Draft Scout ratings.  Has any one got info/thoughts on this guy?

There is a couple of second tier tackles on the FA market.  Maybe they sign one of them, draft another and see what happens.

Regardless, would love to have Rhodes and Vacarro with the first two picks.

Walter Football does not have him listed in the top 35 CB's ?????????????
