With that said, the team has plenty of talent on it. The last thing it needs is to be blown up.

Pencil me in for an EAGLES loss.

Saints have the 30th ranked running game. Their starting RB will not play.
If this is not the game that the EAGLES blizt the most all season I will be surprised.

I have little faith in the secondary.  Allen is out. Bring in the backup. .

This game is tough to say. Yea they have a bad D but they also have a top 3 QB. Our D has struggled against lesser quality QBs so its not to much of a stretch to say it continues to do the same against Brees. However, if the D line can create some pressure on Brees then ee have a chance. If not, it will be another long day.

I realize I'm on a Philadelphia based message board, and that you guys have already made a vow of a lifetime of being miserable, but honestly, the Saints are what they are. A bad team. When I said their defense is all time bad, some of you actually quoted me and said so is ours.

outside of last week, which was an undefeated football team, and still is currently, our defense has been VERY good this year. Not sure what you've been watching. Yeah, we haven't been getting to the QB. That's for sure. It's scary to think how good it would be if they did, honestly. Cuz they're holding very good opponents to low scoring games keeping our offense, which IS pathetic right now, in the game.

Have they blown leads? Yeah. But our D is absolutely not terrible. They have had 1 bad game this year literally. Part of the reason they blow "leads" is because those "leads" are 1-3 points because our offense not only stalls but usually turns it over in the red zone. Literally EVERY time another team scores on is, its a blown lead. Because we don't establish a cushion at all.

That said, since Saints D is literally all time bad this year. ALL TIME, all teams ever, atrocious...yes I feel our offense can score enough points. We obviously have talent on offense and this is the perfect time for them to break out at least for a game, against this miserable defense.

Is it a sure thing, obviously not. I could see us getting blown out by 3 TDs. But we do indeed have a shot at this thing, have you guys even watched New Orleans this year?

I rewatched that game earlier this week and your defense was good against us.  I actually posted this in one of the threads before the game but told you guys that if Ryan scored on one of his first two possessions you were probably going to be in trouble.  Not every game is a great game but when Ryan comes out with a quick start it is usally a sign that he is going to play like a master of the craft.  If he gets off to a slow start we are usually looking at a nail-biter or a loss.

I didn't say that to brag (well, maybe a little) but when a QB is at the top of his game it doesn't take but a couple of mistakes for a defense to lose control of the game.  We tricked you on a couple and out-performed on a couple but your defense was anything but weak.

You *should* have a big game tonight, but even if you don't you should win it.
