Week 9: Three keys to Eagles-Saints

Here are three keys for Monday's matchup between the Eagles and Saints.

1. Establish the run
The Saints' defense gives up an average of 170 yards on the ground per game, so this is the perfect opportunity for LeSean McCoy to get his groove back.

McCoy has been held to under 60 rushing yards in each of the Eagles' last three games and has an average of just 2.56 yards per carry over that span.

2. Put on the pressure
The Saints' fifth-ranked offense is dead last in the league running the ball with 72.6 yards per outing. So, you know they're going to pass all night.

The Eagles' defense must bring the heat, and get to Drew Brees before he can get the ball to his lethal arsenal of weapons.

3. Score early and often
The Eagles' red-zone offense has has been downright offensive, and their 17 points per game average won't cut it against the Saints in the Superdome.

If the Eagles don’t score at least 26 points, we will spend all of next week once again wondering out loud where do the problems stand on this team.
