... Until then, I will yell, scream and cheer for my Eagles. There are still too many games left. We just have to correct our issue and get into the playoffs. We all witnessed the VaGiants do it, so can we. Yes it sucks watching our team get manhandled, yes we have more issues then we all thought, but I believe in our team. We all knew we weren't going undefeated. We lost to 2 undefeated teams ( at the time) and to 2 teams that had great defenses. Lets face it, Atlanta is running on all cylinders, they could do nothing wrong. But lately they have had a great SEASON record, but the are horrible in the playoffs. I don't see why we don't sweep the division, unless that last game of the season doesn't matter. Keep the faith till the math says otherwise, don't look at stats, all that matters is our record and getting to the postseason.

Edit: for all of you fans that have given up, get off these Fing boards, stop watching. If you truly mean what you are saying and honestly don't care anymore, do everyone a favor and don't come back till next season, or at all. You guys should go make a new forum called the fair weather fans where fans from all over can go and **** and complain how "their team" sucks, season over blah blah. F all of you fair weather fans.

You do understand tha5 these players are mercenaries that dont give a ish about winning, or selling out, or putting their heart out there.  Jenkins said it himself.  They. Got their money and if they dont win oh well, they wont lose no sleep over it. Just as long as u know that these players are not into it, then whatever else. U say doesnt mean a damn thing,

It is ridiculous for anyone to talk about ANYTHING else before recognizing this FACT.  Everyone seem to want to ignore the elephant in the room.  These players don't care about playing for a team that you root for. You can see it with your own eyes and the players acknowledge this themselves.

I don't have to look at stats. All I have to do is watch and promptly know that we suck. I'm not about to put my hopes up over a 10 year vet that plays like a rookie. Next year.

Sucks to be you.  I'm not going to allow myself to get worked up only to be let down by yet another Andy Reid led team who can't get it done in the playoffs.  This team will not win a Super Bowl and Andy Reid won't get a Super Bowl in Philadelphia.  The sooner you realize that the sooner you can get off of the emotional roller coaster.

I'm still hopeful and i'm with you 100%, OP.

EDIT: Might as well throw in one of the reasons why I try to remain positive. I know myself, and I know that as soon as I distance myself from the emotion of wins/losses.. when they do win (SB), it won't mean anything to me. It is just this loyalty complex I have....for lack of a better term.

Yes, the Giants pulled it out last season. But this team is not coached like the Giants. Huge difference. We don't run the ball with consistency like the Giants .Vick has a hard time picking up blitzes and feeling pressure. These are not issues for Eli (anymore). Therefore many of us can't compare our team having the same kind of sucess that the Giants had.

I trust in Reid to eff it up royally like he does every year. This team is not going anywhere and most certainly will never win a SB with his crew of players, coaches and system. I gave up when Lurie retained him

Reid is a good man and that is all he is. A mediocre coach.

But the Coaching Staff do need to coach this game like their playing "chess", instead of "checkers".

Sucks to be you. I'm not going to go into a cynical funk before I have to. I still like waking up in the morning with hope and optimism. Sure it doesn't always work out, but fortunately I am well-balanced enough to handle disappointment without letting it affect my life. I don't have to protect my psyche by being morose before I have to.
