There is alot of Sean Patten to Dallas chatter going on with his contract rejected, his history in dallas, and the fact that his home is in dallas. Now I can understand why he don't wanta live in NO. But would he be a true "change" in dallas?

Yea, it is common and has been confussed many many times. yet after much research, and apparently with above average dogmatism (74.8 %), they are calling him payton.

Sean Payton...please Jerry make the right decision for once. Get rid of the Princeton clown and bring in a real HC.

Jerry Jones is a fool but he isn't going anywhere...he needs to stop worrying about his own ego and start worrying about winning football games. Bring in a GM, bring in Sean Payton and step back like most owners do. Let the fans have something to be excited about once again.

yes, that would fix your biggest problem. But JJ does not have that ability in his DNA

He'll never change. The man is in his 70's I'm assuming. How many 70 year olds change in an offseason?

I want Payton as the EAGLES head coach if Andy is Fired... I would LOVE to see him on Our Sidelines.

True. But remember that he refuses to live in New Orleans (his home is in dallas and his kids go to school in dallas), so why do think he would want to live in Phily? I think this could well be a factor.

HC Payton vs. jersey = 3 - 0, all blow out wins 30 - 7 (06'), 48 - 27 (09'), 49 - 24 (11'), outscored by a combined 127 - 58.

Now that's funny.

What would be the point? Jerry would still be calling the shots. Dallas would be a horrible choice for him, why would he want to take a step backward?

Sean Payton discovered Romo at his alma mater, he convinced Parcells to sign him as a rookie free agent...he likes him, and he'd ride for him and would love to cultivate his own discovery after all those years.

Nobody with a brain will take that gig until JJ agrees to give up control.

Did SP tell you this himself or just a guess?

Yes. And also, coaching his actual "home team" would have a cetain appeal for someone.
