The question is now starting to appear valid. This team lacks football IQ and it starts with the head coach. Timeouts at the start of quarters...failure to recognize when there are 7 pass rushers on the line and only 5 blockers...bad tackling...poor angles/pursuit...a BYU center who wouldn't be on any other NFL roster...etc.

I wouldn't suggest it...we know how sensitive the Eagles players are this year.

well you certianly wont be able to give your tix to anyone except maybe the opposing teams fans... so yes brown bags for all...

I said it last year and I'll keep on saying it... This is Luries failure. Reid and crew should have been gone after the abysmal year last year.

Lurie should take the hit!

At home games? I'm thinking about wearing a paper bag in the bar during all games I can't go to.

Drafted by a former BYU center.

This fan base has been through far worse than the meltdown and exit of the Andy Reid regime.

I'd reserve the bags for IF Jeffrey Lurie, after an extensive and exhaustive search for what he expects will be an historically great, top shelf GM, settles on.....Andy Reid.

Then it's truly over.....for a long, long, long time.........two decades....at a minimum.

Vick was sacked 7 times last night, if that was Foles he would have been sacked 20 times. This is the worst o-line in the nfl, it's not even good enough to be a NCAA division 1a line.

And fans aren't going to wear bags, they are just going to stop showing up.

Where is Jamal Jackson or Max Jean-Giles?  They have to be better than what we have.  Dennis Kelly looked like he was avoiding people last night.  Gruden called him out a couple of times saying,"this guy number 67 is having a horrible night".  He never talks bad about anybody.  I hate this team, I hate Vick, I hate the coaches and I feel sorry for Shady McCoy for wasting his productive years.  I will buy 2 dynasty and dream team labeled paper bags.  I would love to sport it while wearing a Vince Young and Michael Vick Jersey.  GO COWBOYS!!  3-13 gives the new coach a better starting point.

Lots of talk but no action by the fans.

The fans need to unite and be heard.

Stay in the parking lot and tailgate until the end of the first quarter.

Jeff Lurie understands 1 thing, and this is $$$$$$$.

Rally everyone  you can, empty seats in the stadium at kickoff will get the owners attention.

Yeah I heard the news today......EPIC SUCKAGE just doesn't come near to covering 1% of it.

The only hope now, is that Howie is turned into the "capologist" with one caveat..... that he is under the control of the true GM...title that guy V.P. of Operations if they must, but a Football guy needs to be running the Football part of this team.

No 'bags'.

I'd recommend, like others say, just don't go to the games.

Yes. Thats why I kinda like the idea. Since it bothers the players so much to be boo'd the fans can just where bags and be silent. It would be a huge statement and Lurie would have no choice but to take action. Just one game.

I think 17,000 should cancel their season tickets in protest. Show them you mean business!

You'e in luck because I'd be surprised if a dozen of those people in front of you will actually buy tickets.  If things don't improve soon, we may even go back the 90's when you could walk up to the ticket window at the Vet and buy playoff tickets right before kickoff if you were bored and looking for something to do.

I understand the frustration and the anger. Everybody here feels the same way, trust me. It's an awful feeling. All I can say is the organization will have some extremely important decisions to make in the weeks/months to come. Huge point in franchise history.

Would you actually go to a game? I thought you had said before you hadn't ever attended an Eagles home game?

Of course I would, I'm an Eagles fan and have been since the 1970's. The fact that I've never been to a game is only because I live several hundred miles away and being a disabled veteran, it isn't easy to sit in a car for several hours at a time.

I can guess your next question... "Then why get season tickets if the drive is difficult?"

Norfolk (near where I live), has an Amtrak station opening in about a month. So getting up there will be a lot easier.

Well good luck in your quest for the season tix.... Given the way things are going, you may have your chance sooner rather than later. I hope this franchise actually lives up to your enthusiasm.

I went to the game yesterday just like I do for normal home games. Most season ticket holders go for the party and its great when the games are good but most of us will still show up for the party called tailgating regardless of whose coaching,QBing or the owner. It's all about talking to your buds, having a few brews and enjoying some real great food. But, then again Lurie already knows it's a ritual here in Philly. I'm not saying we don't give a crap about the game, of course we want a winner, but we will still show up even in bad times for the party.

Not to dump on you or anyone else, but anybody who really thought this season was so full of promise was clearly deluding themselves & probably got suckered into the 4 game stretch of fool's gold from last year. All the spin & hype was just a bunch of excuses.

Of course there hasn't been a promising season around here in years for some of us. <_<

Good times. Used to be handed tickets to games, late 80s, 90s. Was a kind of, 'how bad can it be?', trainwreck kind of thing, with refreshments. It was like Bill Hicks used to say, 'You gotta peek'.
