Firstly, anyone who believed Maclin was better than Jackson before this year is now proven wrong, Jackson has always been better.

But seriously, i watched the whole game, every single play and hardly saw him. Does he beat the CB, is he ever open, does Vick miss him? Where the hell is he in the red zone too. It was tough to watch us in the redzone, i'd have put money on them getting a TD rather than us.

to be honest, i think vick has stopped looking for him. He actually was open a couple of times and vick just got crushed and couldnt get it to him or just missed him. Not defending maclin but i think vick is locking into guys cause he doesn't have enough time. i think if we had a decent not even good but decent oline maclin would be more productive.

also i believe maclin is still hurt.

He's open a ton as well as Jackson being open a lot more than he's thrown too.  Vick isn't seeing the field well at all.

i agree but vick is also getting pummeled before he can throw. granted he isn't recognizing the blitz and changing the protection

The receivers are open all day. They can't throw the ball to themselves. The Oline is missing 4 starters and the QB has zero pocket presence and is atrocious.

The last comment was spot on. Between the OL and Vick the WRs are barely used. No time and when there is Vick isn't picking the right receiver or fitting the ball into the tight window accurately

Vick doesn't have time to find anyone on most plays.  The OL is getting destroyed on damn near every play.  Aside from the occasional "bomb", no one has a chande to make a play.

Last year I saw so many post about Desean Jackson disappearing and yall excuse for Maclin was that he had a cancer scare and he wasnt ready for the season. I dont knoe the  reason why yall dont like Desean maybe its the swag he carries himself with. If the Desean was perfoming like Maclin right now there would be countless post bashing him. The guy cant stay healthy, he drops too many passes and we need to let him walk unless he gives a damn good discount

desean sometimes plays tough, but usually skittish... depends on the game. I dont understand why he doesnt play the same way every game.

I wouldn't have an issue with him going, especially if he is going to want a big payday.  He showed some promise early but has fallen off the last few years.  Jeremey Maclin really is not a legitimate #1 WR.  He is more a #2 or 3.

Maclin besides his 70 yard Lions TD has 250 yards receiving. He is about as interchangeable as it gets right now.

Well lets take a look at lot of his routes, double moves, double in's, go routes, deep posts.  Those are good and all but this line provides enough time for slants and hooks and bubble screens only.  Maclin is running alot of yards for nothing.  Its not his fault really, he really is a good WR.  

  This play calling is killing alot of careers this year.  You really dont think Desean, McCoy, Maclin, Vick, are really this bad do you?

Desean is quietly on pace for 1,248 yards receiving even with the sh**ty O-line and playcalling. McCoy is making plays despite that awful O-line. Vick is that bad and Maclin is that average.

Djax , Mcoy and Vick running made Maclin look good. They were to woried about everyone else to care abut him.  Macs hands are like a brick wall most the time balls just bounce off.

everyone is the problem!....if you have no issues with Maclin production....than i suspect you think Celek, Babin and Cole are pro bowlers in your eyes as well

the problem? there is no one problem. so no he isnt the problem. but it is definitely part of it. pretty much every player on the team is. theres not one position on this team that is performing as they should be.

Maclin is a blue chipper.  He's a first round draft pick with first round talent.  He's running the routes and getting open.  The line can't protect Vick so Vick is not able to step up in the pocket and drop the ball in to Maclin.

Its not their fault that they run predictable routes, thats all playcalling.  Seriously when was the last time you saw the Eagles run a comeback route like the rest of the league does?

I have never been a big Maclin fan but many TATERS here love him. I'm still waiting for this so called break out year to happen. IMO Maclin is nothing more than a legit #2 wr.
