I'm looking forward to watching more college conferences than the SEC to find good prospects for next year.
I want the Eagles to LOAD UP with draft picks for the new regime, fire sale a few players that actually have some value........
Here is my list of keepers heading into next season
OFFENSE
1. Foles
2. Bryce Brown
3. Shady
4. Havili
5. Dunlap (because we cant replace the WHOLE OL in one offseason)
6. Polk
7. Djax
8. Herremans (maybe, but I want him back at guard)
9. Peters (keep him out all this year make SURE he is ready for next year)
10. Cooper (I liked that block)
Thats all I can think of right now.
DEFENSE
Ryan
Kendricks
Marsh
Graham
Cox
Thornton
Landri
Curry
Chaney
Cole (would like to convert him to an LB, may sound crazy but I dont think he needs a hand in the turf anymore, worked for Kiwanuka)
Allen (only because I have to keep a safety, not because I really want him)
Thats it. Everyone else can be traded for picks or secondary/oline help or just sliced off the roster altogether. Any questions?

I would not be opposed to getting a very high draft pick for him though, as long as I have a coach/GM who wont blow it.

I want keep DRC to but I cant. He is keeping the defense on the field way too much, and that tackling last night........horrible. I want corners who can hit people.

I'm still holding out hope for DRC & Nnamdi, maybe it's because I'm crazy, I don't know.
They need new safeties completely. Nate Allen stinks, Kurt Coleman is terrible. They just need new turnover.

As for the offense, I would keep Shady, Brown and Foles. I'm struggling to think of any others I'd want to keep. Obviously this wholesale change is unlikely and others will be kept, but none jump off the page for me.

We could have a considerably better team with 7 of 11 starters on defense and 6 of 11 starters on offense.
Offense: Peters, Herremans, Celek, McCoy, Jackson, Maclin.
Defense: Cole, Cox, Jenkins, Ryans, Kendricks, Allen, Boykin.
I know a lot of people would whine about keeping some of them, but in a lot of cases they're just being used wrong.

That would be the perfect time to make wholesale changes. Whoever comes in here would have to get away from the Reid philosophy which would obviously mean letting a lot of the players go because they fit what Reid wanted to do.

People keep saying stupid crap like this. If he is medically cleared to play, THEN HE IS CLEARED TO PLAY.

You're entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that the problem is two-fold: Vick is incapable of making quick reads AND you have the two brain-dead fatties calling plays. So, I no longer want the right situation for Vick, I want a different situation with a better, more reliable QB.

I'm actually interested in letting Maclin walk. Seriously what has he ever done? he is not explosive like Desean.

So, we should trade Shady because great RBs don't generally win SBs? That's retarded....even for this forum.

He can still make a play or two, , could possibly flourish in a backup or lead role, but he cant consistently lead a pass based offense from the pocket.
I cant spend any more of my Eagles fanhood energy watching Vick Sixes via fumbles and interceptions. Im getting old, and I dont handle stress as well as I used to. Its that serious.

1.) Fire Reid and Marty
2.) Cut Coleman and Babin, promote Graham and Curry and draft a new legit safety
3.) Start Foles and see what you have with him. If he can't play then draft QB in round 1. Vick is leaving at end of year why not think for the future now.
4.) Rebuild Oline and bring back Castillo as Oline coach. Target two additions in the draft and keep watkins as a backup. Focus on drafting legit right guard.
5.) Ditch wide 9.

Not entirely on topic, but there is no one I actually like on the team. See it as whos jersey would I want to own.
The only real standouts are mccoy, and Peters but god knows how Peters will play on his return and I’ve just never really taken to McCoy.
I like desean’s speed, but he is a one trick pony and hurts the team in the redzone.
I liked Celek’s toughness and trucking people in YaC, but last night he was awful… hopefully just a bad game.
There isn’t really anyone on Defense I like. Cole has always been over rated by the board, imo. 10 sacks is not that impressive anymore, just like 1000 yards isn’t 4 players have 9 sacks already, and one has 10.5 17 players had 10 sacks last year, 20 the year before, 14 the year before. He always disappears in the 2nd half of the season and has 1.5 sacks in 7 playoff games.
Demeco has potential to be liked but he doesn’t inspire the vigour in me which trotter did. He’s only been here for 7 games, so hard to “like” him that much.

If getting a great QB, WR, or DE and getting someone else means getting rid of a RB, then absolutely. You can call it retarded all you want. Rodgers, Brees, Eli, Peyton, Big Ben, and Brady have Super Bowls. Shady, Peterson, and MJD don't.
