[Cuse_to_Eagle]

Not sure why everyone has Celek on their keep list.  He's decent overall, but he seems to have had a ton of dropsies this year.  Really think we could use an upgrade there.

I was actually hoping they took a TE high last year.

First off let me start with my players that must go:
Mike Vick- most overrated player in NFL history and terrible mistake that might have set the team back 5 years or more.
Nnamdi Asomugha- what a waste of $$$!!
Cullen Jenkins- Fletcher Cox takes his job
Jason Babin- another very overrated player
Jeremy Maclin- way too inconsistent!  pair a big physical WR with DeSean
Evan Mathis- overrated and overpaid but can stay if worst comes to worst

Players you can build around:
Fletcher Cox
Michayl Kendricks
Trent Cole
DeMeco Ryans
DRC
Jason Peters
Shady
DeSean
Celek- Another big time TE, like Jared Cook, would do wonders for this offense.

What you need to add:
QB- Find out if it's Foles now or find a new one!  The Colts have arguably one of the most pathetic rosters in the NFL yet they are winning games because, wait for it, they have a great QB!!  QB like Luck don't grow on trees but we need somebody WAY BETTER than Vick!
Playmaker at WILL LB or S- either one would do wonders for this defense.  Also find a young DE to develop because you never have enough of those, same for DT!

So, in reality, a 1st round pick(which looks to be high now) could get us a QB!  If not, let's grab a safety, WILL LB, best OL available, or a freak DE to build around going forward.

uh.....not to argue just to argue...but how can you call Mike Vick, who was an ex felon charity project hired in as a third string and BEAT OUT the other QBs on the roster, more overrated than Nnamdi, who ignited a MAJOR offseason league wide bidding war to make the Eagles pay him way more than he deserved.

See this is a fine example of my disdain for the anti Vick posts.  I dislike his red zone play this season more than ANYBODY, but you all want to ignore the fact that other than the disastrous moves inside the 20, the dude moves the ball most of the time.  The coaches wont fix the problem.

Who the f has Nnamdi shutdown?  Megatron until the game actually mattered.

It's not all that complicated outside of the biggest peice which is the QB...Obviously. Also, if the defense had any kind of pass rush Namdi and DRC would look all world!

U need a QB
U need a RG (as long as the RT, LT and C come back healthy)
Two WR's
A second TE (or big and strong first TE)
A DE and a DT that can play every down.
Two safeties
A Punter
A HC
An OC
A DC

Why does everyone want Maclin gone? I get that he hasn't lived up to expectations, but unless you have a better solution  do you really want him gone? There's no guarantee that you're gonna get the "big physical" receiver  everyone wants. There's a reason those guys usually go in the top 10 of the draft- they're hard to come by. Maclin has one year left on his contract, so let's see how he performs in a contract year, hopefully with better QB play and evaluate him after 2013.

Oh and the people talking about trading McCoy are insane. You want to piss off one of the best two players for a trade that will probably never happen? Yeah, that'll help build team spirit.

I like Maclin. He's a bit soft and tends to play through injuries which hurts him from game to game, but I like him.

I lol'd at this.  Jonathan Joseph is a good corner but your senile if you think Nnamdi is the best corner on this team.  This is the same guy Oakland let walk when he was titled "the best corner is the NFL".  Plus DRC is in his prime and Nnamdi is older and slower.
