One of the hallmarks of the Andy Reid era, especially during the earlier and more successful years of his tenure here has been a strong OL.  This year, with the OL decimated by injuries, we see just how important it is.  Everybody used to scream about the lack of offensive weapons - especially at WR - for McNabb.  What they neglected to see, however, was that DMac had better weapons than Vick - the weapons were more boring and less noticeable though.  When an offense has a strong line, it compensates so much for other deficiencies on the team.

A strong OL just makes the rest of the team better.  The offense stays on the field longer, giving the defense more rest.

The loss of Jason Peters is obviously much bigger than most of us thought.  Couple that with the other injuries on the line, and we now see the ramifications of this.  Question - if our old OL from last year was in tact and running on all cylinders, does Vick even throw that Pick 6?  Without that play, the game very well may have taken a different turn.

Washburn, Mudd, and Castillo as DC are the final undoing of Andy Reid... his selections... his accountability.  Thanks for the memories Andy.  Time to go and take your staff and GM with you.

I knew the loss of Peters was gonna be huge. Seemed about every Shady highlite from last year had Peters leading the way or atleast sealing his man. I can't EVER recall our Oline being this bad under Reid. There was De's just running free at Vick untouched. It's not a easy fix, 8-8 might be a stretch now! As for Vicks pick 6, Shouldnt have thrown it to Celek, he was well covered!
