A few weeks ago I would have simply said coaching. But now I don't think the teams players are any where near good enough.

new OC that will actually run the ball
new DC that will blitz early and often
special teams coach that will let our guys have a chance at a return
bring juan back as o-line coach.
new GM
release vick
start foles
draft heavy on O-line
trade up for quality safety
trade d. lewis for a pick
trade babin & cole
resign DRC
release coleman
... thats all i can think of right now.

Everybody I've talked to keeps telling me that Lurie should go out and try to get Chip Kelly from Oregon. They all say we have the personnel to run the Oregon no-huddle, spread offense. Not sure how much I agree/disagree with that one.

1. Fire the entire coaching staff.
2. Fire Roseman. I would actually fire him now and hire the next GM.
3. Hire an up and coming executive (football guy, not an accountant or attorney) as GM. Let him decide who to hire as head coach, perhaps Chip Kelly from Oregon. No Gruden, no Cowher please.
4. In the FA, sign Andy Levitre from Bills to play right Guard, if Bills are dumb enough to not franchsise him
5. In FA, sign Goldson from 49ers to play safety or even Moore from Atlanta or Byrd from Bills.
6. Terminate contracts of Vick, Nnamdi, Jenkins, Babin, Bell, Patterson, etc.
7. Draft top OT left in the draft such as Lewan from Michigan, unless a franchise QB falls to us.
8. Draft a LB to replace Jordan, a couple of corners.
9. Cut stiff like Coleman, all the backup LBs, Curtis Marsh, Brandon Hughes, all backup OL
10. Trade Trent Cole for a draft pick.
11. Sign DRC if the price is right. He is NOT a franchise corner.
12. Consider Andre Smith, OT if price is not high to play RT.
13. If KC doesn't franchise Albert, throw the money at him.
14, Sign Dwayne Bowe if he is not franchised. Or perhaps Greg Jennings if he regains his health. Either way, we need a QB who can read defenses to make use of these receivers.
Free Agency will work if done correctly. Throwing 12M+ on a stiff like Nnamdi will always blow up.
This team is headed for a major rebuild. If done correctly, by a football GM, we could go back upswing in a couple of years.

fire Mudd Marty Washburn
Hire Kirk Ferentz to coach OLine
Hire Ron Rivera to coach on the D somewhere
Hire Pat Shurmer be our OC
Hire Jack del Rio to be our Head Coach
otherwise See if Nick Saben or Les Miles wants to coach and they can bring whoever they want

The second bolded part of your comment is what disturbs me the most. I'm tired of waiting another year for things to improve and that is the reality of what this team is faced with now. Except the year now becomes years. No doubt we need to start over from GM down. And besides finding a good GM and HC I believe we need to find a franchise QB. I don't believe Foles is that guy.
RE: a new coach Kelly is going to be on everybody's radar. I'm leary of how his style will translate to the NFL. I would rather see someone that comes from a program that has a history of doing the football stuff right for a long time (see Pittsburgh; New England; Baltimore: Green Bay). As far as prospective coaches I would welcome someone like Mike Zimmer, Bruce Arians, maybe Dean Peas or Dom Capers.
I agree with you that the Gruden, Cowher, Dungy comments are extremely uninform and even more unlikely. I'm not sure any of thosee guys are any better than Reid. I know for a fact they've all been away from coaching for too long to come in and make an immediate positive impact.

Andy as GM ? You think his talent evaluation warrants him being hired as a GM? No thanks.

Hell no. What is this fascination with keeping Reid around? Do you think his talent evaluation is worth anything? That's part of the reason the Eagles are where they are.

The reality is that the personnel decisions including drafting was patheric under Reid. The 2011 draft was outrageously bad. If I were the owner, I would have fired Reid and Roseman just for that draft alone. We had more than 10 selections and I don't think anyone besides Kelce and Graham is an NFL player. That is an absolute disgrace. So, there is a critical need to rebuild the entire team. Pick some young free agents and then build again through draft, hopefully under a new GM who knows football. It will take a couple of years at least. I am OK with rebuilding and waiting for a winner but must be done by the right guy and not this bumbling idiot Roseman. There are supposed to be multiple QBs in the first round next draft. If one of them falls to us, by all means take him. Perhaps we won't win another game this year with this OL and QB. I wish Matt Barkley is playing better this year but he isn't. Perhaps some other QB like Tyler Wilson. No running QB please.

Well sadly that is a massive over haul of titanic moves, but really I cant argue with any of it. If Foles tanks in the games we start him I would say we talk to Vick about alot less money. I dont think he will take it though, I really think if we release him the Vikings just might make a serious run at him.
The list of moves you said needs to be made just show the massive scale of damage Andy has done in the last couple years.

I want bigger linemen on both sides of the ball, starting with the OL since we have a few salvageable DL.
I want good zone corners. Good man corners are expensive and as we've learned, dont work well with others. I want a defense that generates more turnovers.
I want safeties that force fumbles and can blitz and read offenses better.
