the way this team is playing?  Make me feel a lil better please tell me they are UBER frustrated... I know you cant tell us what is going on behind the scenes, but please give us a glimer of hope that something will break before this season is over.....

Just gotta get one win to turn this thing around what a joke this entire organization has become and what does Howie care he got a 5 year deal for running 2 of the worst drafts in the league in 2010 and 2011.

The O-Line he assembled is just outstanding.

Why do you guys keep making threads like this?  What can he say?  What possible answer could satisfy you?  What enjoyment do you get out of attacking the guy?  If he says, yes we're terrible and everybody hates the team, what do you gain?  Get a hobby man, have a beer, get a girl, something.

Everybody is extremely frustrated and, I hope, very much taking a hard and realistic look at this entire situation. It's horribly disappointing. At the same time, nobody is giving up on this season. The focus is to beat the Cowboys.

I think the better question is how frustrated is Lurie with Howie and the rest of the team?

I hope the answer is sufficiently frustrated to rebuild his team the right way.....with common sense and setting the bar extremely high in every area.

Reid is deservedly on a short rope but Howie, who has proven nothing other than that he can suck up to Jeff and Banner, gets extended.

Extending Roseman over the offseason or extending him last week is obviously a huge difference.
With Banner on his way out and Lurie thinking that the team was THE GOLD STANDARD instead of the pathetic bunch of losers we have seen over the first half of the season, Lurie protected the organization by extending Howie.  That is how you run a business.  Not knowing the specifics of the contract...what his power is or his buyout/compensation, it is stupid to gripe about it.  
Does anyone care if Howie becomes the capologist here if need be ?

I don't have an issue with Roseman being capologist, so long as he has no say in player selection.

I have trouble believing even Lurie believed we were still truly The Gold Standard as of last off season.        In so many ways (obviously in retrospect now), what is happening this season was predictable.       All the ingredients were there.         Reid was just so proficient at avoiding implosion over the last few years, it was hard to picture it actually happening.
