Wonder what it would have been like if P. Manning came here

Manning has lit a fire under that team and they are playing great. Hes basically a coach on the playing field.
Even though this team has the worst o-line ive ever seen something tells me P. Manning would still be tearing it up here.

If the Eagles never signed Vick, Manning might have ended up here (after the failed Kolb experiment) The Eagles would be at least 6-2. JMHO

Manning gets rid of the ball so fast that he wouldn't have taken half the hits Vick does. Manning also understands blocking schemes and knows how to audible so there wouldn't be as many free rushes like it is with Vick. Last but not least, Manning process information and makes reads so fast, that he'll get the ball out before the defender gets there. So far he's been sacked about 10 times at Denver, maybe he would of got sacked about 16 times here. One more thing, Manning would run the show/playcalling, so there would have been more running plays for McCoy. Just not having Marty and Andy call the plays, would be worth having Manning here.

Look at the Redskins, they were thought to be way closer to the jump to greatness last year than the Eagles look now, and RG3 has played better than all expectations, and they still have the same record.

I don't think anyone would debate that the entire team should be blown up, but minus getting one of the best qb's to ever play football, the eagles have 0 hope. The problem is that Howie is the Gm for the next 4-5 years, so the future isn't looking so bright.

While I feel that Foles would make 0 difference. I do feel that having a proven guy like Manning who understands blocking schemes, knows how to call plays, could overrule Andy and call more running plays, set up a opposing defense to get the match up he wants, and can get the ball out as fast as the best of them, would make a huge difference. JMHO.

It's cute watching people who don't know the game talk about it.

and he could call more run plays. Manning would be one of the few QB's who could tell Andy to go shove his pass happy game plan you know where. That alone would mean less sacks and qb hits which means more points in the redzone..

I wouldn't argue that point. Who knows, but I do doubt that he would want to, despite the claims otherwise.

The QB can only audible so much though. If the guys can't actually keep a block for more than half a second it doesn't matter what the call is. If the coach decides to go empty backfield against a 7 man rush, you can still only do so much.

I hate to tell you but With this O-line. He would probably have his neck injured again . And that would probably end his career under the hand of Andy Reid. Don't forget Manning is used to being on teams that run the Football and Andy Reid does not beleive in it.

WTF???? Peyton Manning is one of the best QB's to play the game...ever!
No kidding things would be better if he was the QB. He could make up his own playbook after seeing the sit that Andy and Marty dreamt up.

That's true but with this line as soon as he put his hands on the ball the defenses would have his arse too. He wouldn't have time to do all that great stuff. Have any of you been watching the games lately. Don't forget Peyton Manning does that little pitty pat with his feet before he throws the ball. The next time you see him play try to count how many times he runs in place before he throws the ball (that little pitty pat run he does). Here, he wouldn't have time to do the pitty pat thing he does.

Nobody can argtue that the injuries and lack of solid experience backups on the O-line is a big part of the problem. But even those could be massaged over with a better qb and more balanced attack.
You also need an o-line that can run block
