Holy hell does this whole team suck from top to bottom!! An absolute disgrace.

Halfway through the season and here we are, wishing for a top 5 pick... it's incredibly pathetic for the caliber of what we thought was a good organization.

So, where do we even begin? What position do the Eagles target? What is most pressing? QB or OL?

QB
OT
OG
S
DE
CB
TE
WR

I could literally name every position except RB.

Who are the big names coming out next year?

I need something to look forward to... other than the day Lurie cleans house.

OL would be a good place to start unless a franchise QB is on the board.

This team has so many needs right now I wouldn't know where to start.

BPA. I'd love to grab another T to pair with Peters but if Milliner is there he's a terrific corner prospect. Supposed to be better than Dre Kirkpatrick from Alabama last year.

When things are this bad, luckily you don't need to worry about finding the right player at a certain position.  What we need to do is pick the best player available at a position that isn't already solidified.  I'd say either an offensive linemen, a defensive end, or a safety if there is one worth picking.  I'll hold off on saying QB until we see what Foles has.  I'm not sure I'm sold on any first round QB's this year though.  My wild card would be a WR but it all depends on the draft class.  Some drafts have no safeties projected for the first round and have starting caliber offensive linemen coming out of the second and third rounds.  It really all depends.  I really hope Roseman doesn't screw it up.

I would go OL too. You have to figure even if Peters, Kelce, and Herremans all return healthy, what if one of them loses a step or gets injured again? Our backups are atrocious!

We need quality OL depth. My vote goes OT. Does anyone know if there's a stud OT coming out next year?

Luke Joeckel from Texas A&M is gaining traction as the top OL prospect and a probable top 5 pick. I'd target him. He'd step in and lock down RT from day 1 I think , if by no other virtue than how bad the rest of our OL sucks right now.

To the dude who said we should go safety, there's no way we take a safety in the top 10. People were complaining when TB took Mark Barron there last year, and he's the closest to sure thing starter as you're gonna find in a safety prospect. I'd think we could snag Kenny Vaccaro from Texas in the 2nd or late 1st if we find a way to secure another late 1st rounder.

OL is easily the most important position depending on our injured starters' recovery.  With Peters and Kelce back next year our Tackles and Center will be solid but we'll still need a guard. (This is assuming Kelce and Peters recover from their injury which isn't guaranteed)  A quality safety to replace Coleman and another DE in the 3rd round is also needed.  Our corners are fine as well as our LBs and you don't draft a QB high until you've given Foles his chance.

EDIT: BPA is the best choice.

No question about it what so ever we need tackles in the worst way.  You can then grab decent guards in the second and third if need be.  But tackles is where you need to start.  QB is up in the air and honestly if you cant get Geno Smith I wouldnt even bother this year.  Its a semi-weak class.

Not to mention if we get a qb with pick one that means we are stuck with our ****ty Oline.  OLINE first.  Our new HC and OC will be running the ball alot next year (oh how sweet that will be to watch) and I can see Polk or Brown really becoming something.

  I would go

1)tackle

2) safety

3)guard

They have to go BPA regardless of need. If you draft based on need that leads to taking players a lot earlier than they probably should go.

Then that's who we target. Luke Joeckel

I know it's way early for us fans, but Roseman better be doing his homework yesterday.

Wouldn't mind getting Manti Teo to get a leader on the defense for the next decade.  Then target offensive/defensive lines and add a safety throughout the rest of the draft.  Trade all of the garbage players for draft picks and start over.  This team is pathetic.

Current Top 25 according to CBS/NFL Draft Scout ratings are shown below.

I'd be happy with any one of the OT's (Joeckel, Lewan or Fisher) in R1 - slot one in at RT and put Todd back to his best position of guard. Later on we might need to draft another C if Tennant doesn't make the grade.

1 Geno Smith QB 2 *Johnathan Hankins DT 3 Star Lotulelei DT 4 *Luke Joeckel OT 5 *Jarvis Jones OLB 6 Matt Barkley QB 7 *Dee Milliner CB 8 *Bjoern Werner DE 9 *Barkevious Mingo OLB 10 Manti Te'o ILB 11 *Taylor Lewan OT 12 *Sam Montgomery DE 13 Chance Warmack OG 14 *Damontre Moore DE 15 *Keenan Allen WR 16 John Jenkins DT 17 *C.J. Mosley OLB 18 Alex Okafor DE 19 *Eric Reid FS 20 Johnthan Banks CB 21 *Justin Hunter WR 22 Eric Fisher OT 23 *Robert Woods WR 24 Tyler Wilson QB 25 Barrett Jones OG

Manti Te'o will probably be available. He is a tackling machine and has improved his game ever year at Notre Dame. Great run stopper, can diagnose run or pass very well, and became above average in coverage during his junior year and then lost weight before this season which has made him even better in coverage. He has 4 or 5 INT's this season. Also a heart and soul guy. Plays his heart out every play of every game which is something this team really needs. Linebacker may not be the biggest need, but he would be hard to pass up for me. Could replace Dawkins in the leader role which we have missed the last 3 years.

But in all reality you have to take the BPA. But those intangibles could break a tie between him and another player.

If eagles had a high top 10 pick, hopefully they would trade back for no further than a top 15 and accumulate either picks for next year or hopefully pick up a 2nd or 3rd rounder depending on how many spots we drop.

The eagles have so many needs right now the more early picks we can accumulate the better...lots of quality interior O-line can be found in 2nd or 3rd...

I have no clue what they would do. Not the greatest class and honeslty I am not sure who will still be on the team in April. Makes it very hard to project. the QB class is garbage though. I know that much. I don't want any part of Barkley or Geno Smith

First round picks are usually spent on one of the 5 premium positions.
They are QB, OT, DE, DT & CB.

We have Foles, who may be a good one.  I'd like to see him play 3-5 games to better make a decision.
We drafted DT Cox this past draft, so I doubt we'd do DT.
Left DE is a major need.  We need a new scheme with size as a priority.  So a huge, tall, talented LDE is a priority
in rounds 1, 2 or 3.
OT may be the pick.  Specifically right OT.  We may be able to get a large, tough, tough RT and trade down in the process.
A top right OT can often be had from 10-20.  I'd love to trade down, grab the best ROT and stockpile more picks.
CB...we have two good ones.  They are working with absolutely no pass rush due to Washburn's failed scheme and
the personnel department and Andy's failed love affair with tiny motor midgets.  We don't need a CB in the 1st.  We have
much greater needs...but it pays to remember that good CBs are only chosen in the first two rounds.  I'd pass this year
as there are way too many other needs.

Outside of the premium picks, we need a strong side LB and should move Kendricks to weak side LB.
We need a strong safety, starting OG, developmental LOT and a large WR...a punt returner, a kick returner
and late round picks spent on LBs and DBs that can play special teams.

If Nnamdi gets cut CB becomes a huge need.  Dee Milliner is the best corner in the draft and would get a great pick.

Pass rush has been a huge disappointment.  Bjoern Werner and Sam Montgomery both look outstanding.

Linebacker can always use an upgrade.  Manti Te'o is an incredible player and would be an instant improvement & solid starter.

Offensive line is arguably the biggest issue.  Taylor Lewan and Chance Warmack look like top prospects.

Safety is a problem however Eric Reid would be a reach at 10 in my opinion and he's the best safety available.

My first choice would be   "Lotulelei "  DT   6'4" 335  Of all animal. Paired with cox.......

Oline with both seconds.    Iam trading shady for a second.   Hate to, jut many holes and RB is easy to fill.

OL... not a huge fan of any of the QBs coming out next year.

There are some that are good, but nobody elite like an RGIII or Luck

Maybe if Teddy Bridgewater declares next year after his junior season we could look that direction. Kid is good.

I think it all depends on who is gone, who comes back from injury, etc.  If we get rid of Vick and do not think Foles is the answer then we go QB but if Foles becomes the guy S or OL if there is a guy worth taking when the Eagles draft.

Eric Fisher OT, 6'6" 1/2  318   Great Player and we need the extra selections, just picked up two 3rds and a couple 6ths.
