As many take the big-picture and what's-going-to-happen approach with the Eagles, the coaches and players have to fixate on Dallas, and for the offense, that means finding a workable situation at the line of scrimmage ...

I went on Adam Caplans site www.thesidelineview.com to look at free agents who are available. I have to believe there is an O line player who can do a better job than what we are putting out there. Even if it doesn't fit out system who cares? I got a system...how about keep the defense from crushing our QB? Anywayzz, the faster we fall the faster we can rise back up. I am ready for some hard nose, smash mouth Eagles football again. The type of football the endures (i.e. Steelers). No more tom-foolery and trickery except as a little fun here and there.

Gonna repost sumthin from other day...My candidate for new head coach next year

Vic Fangio, current D coordinator of 49ers:
- Inducted into Northest Pennsylvania Hall of Fame
- East Strousberg grad
- Defensive Asst for Phil/Balt Stars (won 2 championships)
- Coached with lots of winning teams, then was with Standford and Jim Harbaugh, and Harbaugh brought him to 49ers. Everywhere this guy has gone, good results.

My theory. When AR took over the Eagles he brought JJ with him. JJ was a defensive genius so AR didn't even have to THINK or WORRY about the D......JJ had it handled. Since JJ passed away, we have been horrible on D and now AR has to THINK and WORRY about D and in 12 years he didn't have to. He can't just focus on offense anymore.

Next year its obvious we start a new with new coaching. We still don't have our Defense addressed so I like a head coach who knows D.

Lets bring Mr Vic (not #7) in for a homecoming to PA and see if he can turn this great franchise around like Harbaugh did. Mr Vic (not #7) saw him do it at Stanford and say him do it in San Fran. He he can bring new coaches in with him and restore some pride to Philly

Leave the team to figure out how to adjust and whoop the cowgirls tail. I'm hoping AR and MM get their stubborn heads out their @sses and realize they need to max protect and control the clock and ball security and for goodnesssakes punch it in in the redzone! The offensive philosophy has to change or we can expect more of the same . And if I were Vick, screw the coaches, max protect and let's kill these teams! Who's wiff me ?! Go Eagles!

Clash of the bottom feeders..16-14 Eagles W. We can't score any higher. It'll be up and down the field, with loads of turnovers and penalties. I can't believe MV is still healthy, getting hit as much as he is. Mmmm..Kevlar..good stuff. He is going to be injured again, Foles or TE in then? I'd like to see TE going in first, rather than getting our potential future starting QB beat up in an East game.

Bell might not be able to stop Ware. Or Erkel. Vick might see Ware a couple times. Certainly the O scheme employed against Dallas will include a little help for Mr. Vick.

Mr. 7 should just run the ball himself more instead of waiting in the pocket and getting his head cut off.

Dave, even if we had stability on the OL, which we don't, this D is soft and confused. How many points must we hold the 'Hated Cowboys' to for us to stay in the game offensively?

I agree tommy j. We've done nothing to try and get some o-line guys that can play...we get a backup center that doesn't even dress, and Demetress Bust, who looks like the rest of our current backups out there.

On top of that, we are now letting Vick call the protection, at least in the Saints game we did anyways. Look what happened with that! Now if you have a struggling QB, who in my opinion has struggled immensely just holding on to the football, and who seems to fail at reading defenses in most cases, calling the protection....we are asking WAY too much of #7.

I say dish off some so called "talent"...I'm looking at you #24...(among too many other sub-par multi-millionaire flops that are on this team) and get us some dam lineman!!!!

Well i don't have an answer for r problems on the OL it just seems like we have a lack of talent there but I still believe we pull off the win this week vs the Cowboys in a low scoring pretty boring game.

Eagles-20 Cowboys-16. The Eagles D gets after Romo gets 5sacks on the day(2 of which belong to T.Cole)

All i'm saying if Reynolds was calling the protections vs the Saints Vick probably would have been sacked 10times.
Many of Vicks sacks were just from the OL getting beat one on one that has nothing to do with Vick calling protections.

bg93...u might be right...but it's still too much to ask of Vick with the way he's been playing this year. We ignored our o-line this season...didn't get quality players, drafted nobody, aquired crap when the injuries hit, and just said...well Mudd will handle this. Obviously he hasn't.

This team is going down fast, and I think this is Reid's last season here in Philly. Not blaming/hating on Reid, but it is the nature of the beast in this business.

I'm calling for 6-10, and Reid steps down. Lurie will let him resign in favor of the firing.

Jhop...u might be right Vick isn't my first choice to call protections but better him then reynolds and those r the 2options.
Mudd can coach players and tell them how to do things but he can't make them play good like i said we just have a lack of talent at depth on the OL i truely believe is doing the best he can with the players he was given.

3D...if the TH reports r true it would fit right in with how bad this season has been going hopefully it is not true though

Sunday night we are toast and Vick is going to be burnt!!!!!! The season is over for the Eagles. Time to rebuild our O-Line and change line coaches. We have been going downhill ever since we started this wide 9 bull. Our D is bad and I blame that on the coaches. Maybe they are afraid of these players since they make so many more millions than they do. They need to rip into these guys like Bill Cower would do. The players think they are all PRIMA DONNA's ( a vain or undisciplined person who finds it difficult to work under direction or as part of a team ). They need a taste of working for minimum wages and see what it's like to really work for a living.

Y the hell is everyone blaming Mudd the guy can only work with what he was given all his starters but 1 is injured and he was given ****ty depth. Mudd is the best OL coach in the NFL he protected Peyton for yrs in Indy and 2010 speaks for how good he is with the OL i would not replace him next season just get him talent

3D...AR should take over playcalling go out swinging if i was him because whatever the F MM is calling is not working.

1st and 8 drive on the goal line still blows my mind
1st down- incomplete pass
2nd down- Vick sacked 11yds
3rd down- Vick incomplete pass
Still don't understand y we never tried to run the ball and Shady is such a good team player he won't complain about his touches

Where's the nastiness on this team? Why are they so soft? You know what they say, when you are around someone long enough you start taking on their traits and mannerisms. I don'tsee the nastiness and fire in Reid. Never have. But he never had to worry about it cause he had Jim Johnson and Brian Dawkins and Jeremiah Trotter and Jon Runyan and Tra Thomas. Trent Cole used to be that way. Just not sure why they aren't addressing the nastiness and roughness

Just use some of the D line on the O line at this point, can't be any worse the Bell jumping 5 times a game. Just Have them block for Vick. Can't be any worse then them knowing on 3rd and long at the Saints they were blitzing and we had no one in the back field to pick up the blitz each and every time. Stupid is as stupid does. I have no clue what these coaches are thinking, we have coaches in the boxes and no one is doing crap. Better yet, put Nnamdi on the o line and let him finally do something, he hasn't done crap, add Babin cause he needs a beat down so he can really cry like the big baby he has become. Vick takes a beating week in and out at least he handles it professionally.

>>DIsgusted: Back in June, Lurie gave Howie Roseman an extension. Back last year, Lurie gave Reid, Morhinweg & Castillo a chance to fulfill their promises of the Dream Team. Fan MUST REALIZE that Dream Team 2.0 is a creation of Howie & Andy. It is THEIR JOINT VISION of an all conquering team. Lurie's decisions are as bad as Leonard Tose doubling down on bets at the Casino. Roseman is a return to the DARK AGES of Eagles football. By that, you younger fans, I mean Joe Kurharich epoc teams. Lurie has screwed the pooch--TWICE.
