Vic Fangio, current D coordinator of 49ers:
- Inducted into Northest Pennsylvania Hall of Fame
- East Strousberg grad
- Defensive Asst for Phil/Balt Stars (won 2 championships)
- Coached with lots of winning teams, then was with Standford and Jim Harbaugh, and Harbaugh brought him to 49ers. Everywhere this guy has gone, good results.
My theory. When AR took over the Eagles he brought JJ with him. JJ was a defensive genius so AR didn't even have to THINK or WORRY about the D......JJ had it handled. Since JJ passed away, we have been horrible on D and now AR has to THINK and WORRY about D and in 12 years he didn't have to. He can't just focus on offense anymore.
Next year its obvious we start a new with new coaching. We still don't have our Defense addressed so I like a head coach who knows D.
Lets bring Mr Vic (not #7) in for a homecoming to PA and see if he can turn this great franchise around like Harbaugh did. Mr Vic (not #7) saw him do it at Stanford and say him do it in San Fran. He he can bring new coaches in with him and restore some pride to Philly

On top of that, we are now letting Vick call the protection, at least in the Saints game we did anyways. Look what happened with that! Now if you have a struggling QB, who in my opinion has struggled immensely just holding on to the football, and who seems to fail at reading defenses in most cases, calling the protection....we are asking WAY too much of #7.
I say dish off some so called "talent"...I'm looking at you #24...(among too many other sub-par multi-millionaire flops that are on this team) and get us some dam lineman!!!!

Many of Vicks sacks were just from the OL getting beat one on one that has nothing to do with Vick calling protections.

This team is going down fast, and I think this is Reid's last season here in Philly. Not blaming/hating on Reid, but it is the nature of the beast in this business.
I'm calling for 6-10, and Reid steps down. Lurie will let him resign in favor of the firing.

Mudd can coach players and tell them how to do things but he can't make them play good like i said we just have a lack of talent at depth on the OL i truely believe is doing the best he can with the players he was given.
3D...if the TH reports r true it would fit right in with how bad this season has been going hopefully it is not true though

1st and 8 drive on the goal line still blows my mind
1st down- incomplete pass
2nd down- Vick sacked 11yds
3rd down- Vick incomplete pass
Still don't understand y we never tried to run the ball and Shady is such a good team player he won't complain about his touches
