Teams have been blitzing and overloading our line almost every down in the red zone. You can bet teams in the future will continue to do this. I gaur-an-tee  it!! Yet we refuse to block the free man and we continue to stay in our no back sets. Is it Vicks fault for holding the ball and not getting rid of it fast enough? Is it the play calling? If we bring in another lineman and keep the TE in to block will that do it? What will it take?

Honestly?     One thing, and one thing only - an entirely new regime and plan.

Anything short of that is the equivalent of a band aid, when what is needed is a tourniquet followed by major surgery

Max protect?  The issue isn't guys coming off the edge or overloading the number of blockers.  The issue is the OL is putrid.  The language that I would use would get me kicked off the boards and likely committed.  As long as the interior of the line fails to block anybody, there is no point in max protect.  Ok, even if you hold the edges, you still get killed in the A/B gaps.

Some of you guys are really grasping now. This team blows, plain & simple. Deal with it.

For immediate moment, the Eagles have to tweak the scheme and be realistic about the limitations of this offensive line. That's all I can say. That's all I think. Nobody can expect a line with this many challenges to be a throw-first team, or at least one that gets the ball down the field. Vick just won't have that kind of time on a regular basis.

Nobody?    Is that a not-so-veiled shot at the inane scheme and play calling?

If so, well done.

I made a thread in TATE about Andy's lust for two recieving TE's, Why?, with McCoy, jackson, Avant, Maclin, Celek, and Brown, is'nt that enough fire power, a #2 TE that is a blocking first TE would have surely helped with our OL problem

I love when the center double teams a guy while letting another run free right next to him.
