Just some stuff to think about

Assistant coaches under Andy Reid who have become NFL head coaches:

Brad Childress, Minnesota Vikings (2006–2010)
John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens (2008–present)
Steve Spagnuolo, St. Louis Rams (2009–2011)
Leslie Frazier, Minnesota Vikings (2010–present)
Ron Rivera, Carolina Panthers (2011–present)
Pat Shurmur, Cleveland Browns (2011–present)

I was wondering if the issue of staff and coaching might not be over stated?  Was firing Juan a miscalculation?
And just a fact about fans:

Although the method may vary, studies that attempt to rank the 32 fan bases in the NFL consistently place Eagles fans among the best in the league, noting their "unmatched fervor."[15]
The American City Business Journals, which conducts a regular study to determine the most loyal fans in the NFL, evaluates fans based primarily on attendance-related factors,[16] and ranked Eagles fans third in both 1999[17] and 2006.[18] The 2006 study called the fans "incredibly loyal," noting that they filled 99.8 percent of the seats in the stadium over the previous decade.[19] Forbes placed the Eagles fans first in its 2008 survey,[20] which was based on the correlation between team performance and fan attendance.[21] ESPN.com placed Eagles fans fourth in the league in its 2008 survey, citing the connection between the team's performance and the mood of the city.[22] The last home game which was blacked out on television in the Philadelphia market as a result of not being sold out was against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, September 12, 1999, which was Andy Reid's first home game as new head coach of the Eagles.
The studies note that—win or lose—Eagles fans can be counted on to pack their stadium. As of August 2008, the team had sold out 71 consecutive games, and 70,000 were on the team's waiting list for season tickets.[22] Despite finishing with a 6–10 record in the 2005–2006 season, the Eagles ranked second in the NFL in merchandise sales, and single-game tickets for the next season were sold out minutes after phone and Internet lines opened.[23]
Eagles fans have numerous dedicated web communities, ranking the Eagles just behind the Phillies as the dominant Philadelphia sports presence on the web. [24]

The reason why I posted this is because I can't blame the play on the field and the offensive line woes on Vick and Reid any longer, and I'll be glad to have that conversation AFTER the game in Dallas.  But solid up folks, that O-line stunk in NO.

I think you need to edit your title---you said "NFC Head coaches"--Baltimore and Cleeland are AFC teams.

Maybe that's why every team in the damn league knows what we're going to do.

only problem with that list is that only Jon Harbaugh in Baltimore has had any degree of success. The Ravens have been tough and competitive, but the others all failed. The jury is still out on Frazier.

Wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if Reid got rid of the same plays he's been running for the last 10+ years.

That damn shovel pass inside the 5? Empty set shotgun...inside the 5? Carrying 4 RB's and using 1 of them.

Oh the part about the fans, I guess the fans forget all of the good coaches that we "HAD" in philly, not saying that they are bad fans.
I'm not in vibe with the whole blame Vick/Reid for the Offensive Line issues and injuries, not making excuses for Reid and Vick nor back-pedaling from my desire to see a "sense of urgency" in winning.   But the point in a  "sense of urgency" and "fear motivation" is only applicable to a point.  I guess if Lurie sacks Reid it is Karma for the treatment of Juan, but I guess I also wonder with Howie here for an extended period of time if getting a credible HC will be easy?

But that list and the staff in CLEVELAND is telling.. as if we have some of the right stuff in this town but it not jelling together as a collective and consistent effort, and that is difficult when the O-Line plays as bad as it does, I was hoping for a while there that Foles play, no need to see him get hurt~   Good to see what some of the RB's can do, but tossing Foles in behind this line and hoping he can do better I think unrealistic and I also think that the injuries to the O-line are beyond Reids control

JMHO, and F anyone who disagrees

I would like to keep the Play Action as the first play of the game.  That thing is brilliant!!!!

The men in the press box were calling the plays before they were run.
What dose that tell you ?

Maclin was wide open on the first play in the Saints game.  Vick picked the right side of the field to throw to, but wrong receiver.

Hmm? I missed if Maclin was open because I saw on T.V. Were you at the game?

I heard Didinger discuss it and how Maclin was open.  I had the game saved on my DVR so I went back and watched the play.  Knowing what to look for, I was able to see it.
