only because of winning 4 meaningless games down the stretch against miserable competition...this year is a true indication of how much that team last year sucked...

None of their 8 wins were any more or less meaningful in determining their final record and the end result of finishing 1 game out of winning the division including when they kicked jersey's arse at home (for the 5th straight time) week 11.

At least I'll be here to admit my mistake (if it turns out so)

Let me ask you, come August next year, are you going to be spewing the same garbage you have the last 2 years how the Eagles are the class of the division when, in reality, they are closer to being the worst team in the East instead of the best?

I have no idea what my opinion of the team will be next August until I see what changes they make in the off season, but it's certainly not like there's any loaded, dominant team in the NFCE that would be impossible to eclipse with the right moves.  Hell just getting our 3 starting OL back from IR will go a long way in fixing what's wrong with this year's squad.

Anyone think about what really goes on here? We all sit like morons at a computer and make predictions, of which we have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTROL. Then, when we are proven wrong, we get our balls busted by everyone else on here.

And some make so many predictions, or change their predictions more often than the wind blows that the "Infinite Monkey Theorum" eventually comes into play and God forbid let just one of them turn out to be even remotely correct then they strut around like they're the 2nd coming of Jimmy the Greek. :nonono:

Theres at least one who wont even MAKE a prediction, because he's too much of a poosay. He'd rather attack other peoples' predictions and call them stupid

So then the 2004 Eagles fall into that category as well, no? Because what that Pats team did is exactly what you guys did and lost to a vastly less talented NE team in 2004...

That is correct to a degree. The 2004 Eagle team had more of an expectation than the 2011 and 2012 team combined. The previous 3 NFC championship games also determined that McNabb didn't have it in him to get to the BIG game. Every one of those games came with a game clinching interception or multiple TOs (Ricky Manning Jr.). The expectation for that team was to actually WIN the NFC championship game. Nobody hardly brought up the SB

Me personally, I wouldn't go as far as saying NE was inferior. They had some very nice pieces (Dillon, Branch, Givens, Faulk and those folks on defense) as well.

Best times though! Everytime the Eagles lose, my girl will ask me "Are you logging on today to face THEM?"

I sit back and laugh while taking a deep breath before loggin on because I know I'm about to get it

I'm cool with everyone here and look forward to this for a long arse time.

I was here during those posts. Every team has those fans though. I remember getting into with BoneTone over JPP and Cole.

We've (you, me, Stevo, Happy, BK, GMen, RedskinFan) been here for years man and these boards have seen some serious characters. The funny thing is, over the next few years, we're going to see alot more newcomers who are even crazier.

Dont forget pick-ups, who hasn't been here running his big mouth since week 4. Guys like that always just vanish at the first sign of their "lock" predictions making them look stupid. Some of them wont even make a prediction, and still run and hide like the frontrunners they are.
