I will never root for this team to lose any game, but i am realistic about the likely of winning any more than 2-3 more games if the play on the field is anything like it what it's been the last 2 weeks.  I'll still get mad when I see that kind of play as well even though i know I shouldn't expect anything any better, but if it's the team I've been loyal to since 1960 I'm not going to root for them to lose.  I only do that for the cowpukes and vagrants.

Real simple.............

If it gets to a point where we are out of the playoff race, then Nick Foles has to start the remaining games....no matter if Vick is 100% healthy or not.....no matter if Foles plays horrible in his 1st start.  You have to give Foles a good 4-5 games just to get an idea if he is gonna be a possible starting QB.  I suspect that within the next 4 weeks, we'll be out of it.

Depending on how Foles plays, we'll have an idea if we need a QB next year.

I dont care for Matt Barkley or Geno Smith.  I think they will both be better College QB's than NFL QB's.  Not many QB's that come out of USC have been any good.  Carson Palmer was pretty good but then he got hurt and hasn't been the same.  Matt Leinart sucks, Mark Sanchez sucks.  I expect the same with Barkley and dont forget he's playing with arguably the 2 best WR's in college football.

If we need a QB, better off getting 1 thru free agency or trade.

Not rooting for them to lose, rooting for them to survive.  And the people who didn't see the O-line struggling in the PIT game were blind, have seen this problem for last four games.
Yeah I'll be cheering for no season/career ending injuries.
My bet is we get mauled by Dallas, that it will be an opportunity despite the poor performance to determine which players if any just plain out quit

To say the O-line sucks is fair enough... but really your not a fan if you want to see the team lose

With 2 games against Dallas, I can't root for a 3-13 season. I believe we'll lose our 5th straight, but I can't root for Dallas to beat us. I can't really root for any loss, but I won't have any ill feelings if we lose other games. This team has sucked the emotion out of me.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but i'd be lying if I said id rather finish 8-8 than 3-13. Still though, I don't see this team losing every game left on the schedule. I think they'll win at least 3-4 more.

And no on a QB in the first round. I'd say we need

1. Oline man
2. WR with some height
3. Safety
4. Corner

In that order. If they do take a qb, it won't be til the later rounds.

I would be happy with a record of 5-11 and a good draft pick.
You ask why and say you are not a fan. Well this team needs so much that an8/8 record would

You are beyond mentally retarded to compare Vick and Smith to McNabb.  McNabb had a great winning percentage, all-time records, top 5 TD/INT ratio and did it all by himself for most of his time here.

What was he thinking when he decided against Earl Thomas?

I'm rooting to win every game, despite my anger. But yes, i agree that some players are not giving an effort. Have you watched this defense try to tackle lately? Just look at the tape again of this past week. Too many times did one guy have a chance at making a tacke on his own while 1-3 other eagles are there that can finish the damn job/help out and they just stand there thinking their teammate will take care of it on their own. Obviously they are all struggling to tackle 1 on 1, why the f they dont gang tackle at times is f'n damn ridiculous. Look at the tape!

Agreed and Geno Smith pretty much IS a pocket passer. But because he's black, the idiots here think he's a scrambler (imagine the cheesesteak marketing if we drafted him though!)

I'm a WVU fan. I'm not sure Geno is better than Foles, and I'm not sure I'd spend the first overall pick on him. He doesn't have Foles' arm, isn't any more mobile, and has streaky accuracy. Good player, may be a decent pro, good kid and teammate, but I haven't seen NFL "star" potential.
