Who was it that short armed the pass in the endzone, Maclin or Jackson?

It but if your WR don't have any heart (I question the heart of both of those guys) their gonna make your QB look bad because their not going to run the routes they should be running, that pass should have been a score.

Right behind the OL and defensive backfield I'd be looking to upgrade those WR's, we nedd size and heart, no need for two wussies playng WR.

not sure what pass your talking about but i'll take a guess and say Jackson he spent all of 2011 shortarming passes.  Maclin just dissapears so probably wasnt him..

Let's bring back thrash and pinkston then...

Eagles fans are so Fing retarded when it comes to WR's...can't even remember the pre-jax and pre-mac days when we had absolutely garbage.  The 1 WR we did have was the most selfish player in NFL history

btw, both receivers had passes they could have caught for TDs on monday. Desean didn't even really try to catch his- i think he was expecting it to be tipped or wasnt ready.

Maclin's hit him in the forearm.

The one that he was only able to get a hand on because Vick was throwing to the stands?

It was maclin. Made no effort to make the catch. Bout time we get somebody to replace him. Not fast enough to beat guys deep and to small to go over the middle. Hes afraid to get hit because everytime he does he has to go sit out.

Maclin beats guys deep all the time. You can go watch the tape available online and see the zoomed out view where he gets open but doesn't get the ball. And the alligator arms was from Jackson, not Maclin. Maclin had a horrible pass thrown by Vick that no one would have caught. Cooper also had alligator arms on one play down the middle.

Maclin has probably been the biggest disappointment for me this year. His blocking this year has been some of the worst blocking I have ever seen from a WR in my entire life(looks effort related). He isn't consistent or physical enough in basically every aspect of his game. To top that off, he rarely makes plays for someone I would label a finesse WR.

Bring back Irving Fryar. Bring back F. Barnett and C.Williams

CMPunk you make pretty bold statements. Especially considering your one of those "Its not Vicks fault. Its never Vicks fault" type of guys. There are some clues out there that need to be had by you sir.

I think the Pittsburgh and Arizona losses are on Vick (he didn't play well in Cleveland either) but the last few losses cannot be pinned on Vick. Meanwhile the idiots here are screaming FOLEZZZ like that's going to change the fact that our O-Line is terrible and the fact that our defense couldn't stop a nosebleed. Adding on to the fact that defenses expect us to pass every down.

And no, I don't care about seeing FOLEZzzzz this year.

Maybe it wont change anything. I for one would rather see T.Edwards than Vick at this point. Am I an idiot?

I agree not every game lost is Vicks fault, our D is playing terrible, and our Oline is depleted and slumping.

Vick isnt/cant get it done though. Pure and simple. There are alot of things that go into me thinking that way and Id love to break it down for you, if need be.

Are you one of the many who say " No one could play QB and have success under this O-Line?"

Trent Edwards got booed in Buffalo. BUFFALO. Imagine what the genuises at the Linc in Philly would do.

And I think most of our woes begin with the coaches not the quarterback. Andy Reid's words are falling on deaf ears in that locker room and they have since we got rid of Donovan.

And yes nobody could play behind this O-Line. It's terrible. This team has completely given up on Andy Reid. The only guys out there giving maximum effort on a weekly basis are Shady, Celek, Bryce Brown (when he's playing), Ryans and yes Mike Vick. The guy is a warrior but Eagles fans don't care about that. They would rather just look at the scoreboard and assume it's the Quarterback's fault. This fanbase is very short sighted which explains why players constantly come out to the media to diss us. Where else do multiple players come out and insult a fanbase?

People here think that just a new quarterback will solve all of our problems but problems linger regardless of the quarterback. Look around the league and look at the young quarterbacks who are succeeding and the ones who aren't. Seahawks fans wanted a new QB last year but they completely overlooked the fact that none of their recievers could seperate from cornerbacks. Now, they have a new QB, that issue is still there and they have yet to win a road game this year.

That's just one example. This team has way too many other pressing issues to be worried about the Quarterback right now.

if he was able to get a hand on it he should have been able to catch it! IT WASN'T THROWN TOO HIGH! if it hits Maclin's FOREARM... he could have easily (or should have anyways) gotten TWO hands up instead of one!!! laziness!!! no heart!!!
And all you sheep just repeat what the commentators said about being too high, but when you see the replay, it clearly could have and SHOULD HAVE been caught!
And all of Larry Fitzgerald's highlight plays are passes like that... up high, etc. difference is he's a guy who will  go & get it! Maclin has no desire!

And there was a lot of that going on by all our "playmakers"... trying to catch with only one hand! Celek, Jackson, and Maclin all one handed a would-be touchdown! you can blame it on a bad pass all you want, but there is guys in the league who go get those every week!

Maclin and Jackson are probably the least of concerns on this team right now, but they are both extremely brittle.

Seriously? Your gonna sit there and tell me T. Brady, D.Brees, and P.Manning would all equally do just as bad? If T.Brady started for us from here on out I bet we make the playoffs! T. Brady is a leader AND a winner. 2 things Vick is not. For example: No back set, you think Bradys gonna sit back there and just get hit? Hell no, Hes gonna make an adjustment. Set up a couple hot routes JUST IN CASE the D isnt bluffing and actually do send more people than we can block. Its a numbers game. Someone HAS to be open. Brady is intelligent and football savy enough to lead this offense without Reid. Why do you think they let good QB;s pretty much run the show in certain situations? Because coaches know that THEY know what there doing and trust in what they;re seeing out there. Plus a no back set has what 4-5 WR's? Even if they just rush 4, 5 progressions need time to be looked at. Most QB's are gonna hit 1 of there 1st 3 reads.

it was more of a lack of effort...by Jackson though because of the position of the defenders, he may not have seen it clearly either chief.

I am pretty sure it was Jackson.  I didn't even watch the game but I remember flipping to it and seeing a pass in the end zone where he could have dove for it but instead didn't even make an attempt to catch the ball.
