Ok,  some of you were crying for Foles to take over.  Well this weekend you are going to get your wish.   With that broken down O-Line the Eagles have you'll get your wish.  Because Michael Vick is going to get Killed behind it.  The Cowboys are going to Blitz the ish out of him.  And Demarcus Ware is going to have a Field day.  As matter of some of you are going to get a two fer.  You are going to get to see Edwards play too.  Is there anyone behind Edwards that can play QB?

Doubtfully once Foles is in the Cowboys will soon stop blitzing after Foles burns them on a couple of quick audibled slants for TDs.

Ummm hate to burst your bubble but Vick has like a 70% compeletion rate on blitz's and like 4 TD's and zero INT's.  Its not the blitz's its those dreaded 4 and 3 man rushes!

LMAO!!! Considering he gets  blitzed every other play 4TD's and 0 INT's is nothing to brag about. If he KNEW what he was looking at/for those numbers would be better and his hit/sack ratio would be lower. The OLine is horrible, but Vick does them no favors.

I think its a known stat by now that Vick hangs on to the ball longer than EVERY STARTING QB, except R. Wilson.

So if that stat holds true, then there HAS to be times where he has 'good' protection and still fails to be productive.

We arent going anyone with this O-Line & Vick at QB.

Why not change things up, how much worse could it get?

Foles is used to playing with ish, but Im sure all you educated Eagle fans knew his body of work huh?

Stop sucking on Vick's nuts, it is ridiculous!!! I want the Birds to beat the cowgirls as much as anyone, but Vick surviving this game is looking highly doubtful!!! If Foles does come him he will undoubtedly take a bunch of hits, but unlike Vick, he ain't built like a rag doll!!!

That is when he is not getting sacked or fumbling the ball.

As was said above Foles just needs to burn the D a time or two and they will back off. Perhaps seeing the middle of the field will enable him to do that. The line sucks but if they know where the QB will be they might be able to protect better as well. All that said leave Foles on the bench. Last thing we need is for Reid to POSSIBLY save his job.

Agreed. Foles actually has awareness, something Vick lacks and even what I sometimes questioned about McNabb(games can end in a tie???). I think that is what excites me the most.

Lol the best part of all arguments.  Foles has awareness.  He has a quick release.  He will know where to go with the ball.  He's used to it with the crappy line he had in AZ.  So many great scouts in TATE lol.

Some of the things that some of you write here is incredible.  The truth is Foles is going to get the ish knocked out of him the same way Michael Vick is,  just wait and see.  I expect to see Edwards in this game at some point too.  Hopefully the game will be over and he will not take as much punishment as Foles And Michael Vick does.  Folks,  Foles IS NOT GOING to do much,  even though you have convinced yourselves he will. It's not going to happen.  The Eagles are done,  stick a fork in em.  :nonono:

I hope Foles is the next Brady.. But it's funny when people are like.. "Foles has awareness". "He gets the ball out quick"
Have you ever seen him take 1 snap in a real game? Let's not get ahead of ourselves.. Hopefully he gets in for a few snaps and we can see what he can do.

I don't even bother to address how good they say he is,  because they did the same thing with the annointing of Kevin Kolb.  They talked about "his poise in the pocket "and" his pin point accuracy",  and "his ability to read defenses" and how he is the "next Tom Brady".  And here we go again with Foles.  it seems as though the Eagles choose some jacked up Football players but when they pick a QB he is the next "Tom Brady" after a few preseason all of a sudden.  I wonder why they STINK choosing other players but the QBs they pick are the Tom Brady's of the NFL.

People saw Foles excelling in the same gameS(plural) that Vick couldn't get past play #6.

People are banking on that, because we've seen what we get with Vick from the second half of 2010 until today.

I'm a Vick fan.. But I hope we get a chance to see this kid in a real game to end the speculation. It's a different story when your missing almost your entire Oline and teams are really game planning.

The ironic thing for Vick is, in Atanta, he also had a 3rd round rookie come in and look good in the preseason. Care to guess his name?

As for the annointing of Kolb, I was one of them, and I say to this day he still didn't get his fair shot at being the starter. I hope he goes on to do well in Arizona and proves that he was better than most of you think he was.

Laugh all you will, but Vick isn't playing well and that more than anything has people wanting to see Foles. If Vick was lighting the world on fire and we were still losing, he would be the undisputed QB. I am an Eagles fan first and foremost and I want a win for the team. I have lost faith that MV7 is the guy who gives us the best chance to win, week in and week out.

Good QB's can over come a non existent oline.

They have god-like powers that allow them to teleport the ball to receivers instantly without even seeing them.

so if foles comes in and plays better than vick again as an unproven rookie behind this same hiddeous oline are you going to come in here and tell everyone you were wrong for worshiping vick for so long? or are you going to continue to bash foles (who has had no chance to play yet) and say reid and marty did him a bunch of favors? My guess is you'll dissappear and follow vick to his next team (presuming there is one).
