Yeah I'm sure the owner's divorce really tore this locker room apart. This thread has more excuses than an episode of Judge Judy.

8 years of a Superbowl hangover, mired in mediocrity, Reid trying to figure out how to do a better job, etc.
The excuses and spin stop this season. Reid is responsible for who he hired as his coordinators, who he fields at the most important position on the roster, and poor drafting on defense and no O line depth.

Im sure everything mentioned plays some sort of role. But at the end of the day its nothing but excuses. Other teams go through hardships, injuries, and what not. Its truly sad that Reid lost a son, but I dont think it has any bearing on whats happening. Its not like its altered his game planning/calling.

I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but I think it is worth mentioning every chance I get. The Colts, at 5-3, are starting three offensive linemen who were basically thrown away by the Eagles.
And something tells me that those linemen will be starting there for years.
I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that the talent evaluation of the Eagles is somewhat suspect if other teams are successful with players who were deemed not talented enough to play here. So what this team has had to overcome is its own incompetence.
