Would take a blank check to make him DC here and give MK complete control of the defense ala Jim Johnson. We need a crusty old man to run that defense. It worked with JJ.

And with that, I wouldn't care if we got Holmgren if he was interested. At least he runs that ball.

He's 72 years old, has a great job and doubt he coaches in the NFL again. We need a long term solution, not a short term one that will likely retire in 2-3 years.

And there we have it. People need to let go of names and previous reputations.

Monte Kiffin announced today he is leaving USC to return to the NFL. He would make a great defensive coordinator behind an offensive minded NEW head coach.

He is 72, I think he either takes a coaching job or a front office job in Seatle with Pete Carroll

No way. Watched him out here in LA and the Trojans had plenty of talent on D and consistently underachieved.

He's got a name some people recognize and that alone causes people to gravitate in his direction. People need to stop with this type stuff.

That's what helped lead to Gruden's firing after 2008.

Hey, look what they did in New England, Parcels left and then came Belicheck, if that could happen in Philly, it would be awesome. But then Bill went on to take a dump in Miami, so, I guess you could call this strategy a crap-shoot.
