Why do the Vick people always say Foles looked good because he played against second and third stringers. Hello!!! Vick was running for his life and getting killed by the same players. Foles came in when Vick got knocked out against the same players. Wake up people!!!

It was the preseason. Doesn't mean much either way. The reasons to play Foles now over Vick should be obvious to anyone who has a grip on reality which seems to exclude Jeffrey Lurie at this point

Yeah, Vick stunk. But he stunk in 2010 in the preseason before he went on his great 10 game run. Preseason just doesn't mean much.

Vick played a total of 7 snaps the entire preseason.

Shut the F up about how he looked already. That's the smallest damn sample size you can get.

Because they don't like to accept that Foles displayed real QB skills. It's never easy or fun to admit you are wrong about someone.

Yeah, getting killed because the O-line couldn't block anyone really shows how bad of a quarterback Vick is.

Good call.

Um, Foles managed a lot more snaps than that behind that line, and a lesser line once Andy started sending the subs in.

Just face it already, Vick's stunk this year in both the regular season and the preseason. He was never much of a qb, and he's less now then ever as he ages.

Congratulations, Nick Foles is less injury prone than Michael Vick.

He still sucks more as a quarterback.

We(neither you nor I) know if Foles sucks more or less than Vick as an NFL qb. The only thing we DO know is, that Vick has sucked at playing NFL qb since he came into the league. He used to have the athletic abilities to disguise that a tad, but the ravages of time and hits has taken a lot of that away.

That's why we'd like to start Foles. To see if he sucks more than Vick or less than Vick.

Give the next coach some film to see if he's OK with Foles, or wants to go FA as a stop gap until a good qb comes up in the draft.

Um, Vick played against the 1st teamers, got hurt after 3 and 4 plays, and Foles came in early against 1st stringers, then stayed in against 2nd stringers..

Patriot starters weren't even at the game

Foles was sacked once in the preseason. Has absolutely nothing to do with being injury prone and everything to do with being a smart QB.

If Michael Vick threw 90% of his passes to LeSean McCoy, like Nick Foles did against the Patriots, he'd have a lot less sacks too.

Unfortunately, that doesn't work in regular season games against starters and actual defensive schemes.

Why would you exposed poor Foles to this horrid line?  Just wouldn't be fair for the kid.  Let Vick absorb the punishment this year... wouldnt want to see Foles get Carr'd (or Kolb'd).

So do you struggle with percentages or what? Lesean had three receptions for 21 yards in that game. Two more of Foles 28 attempts went in Lesean's direction but were in complete. There was a fourth completion to Lesean that was removed by penalty. This makes five of his actual 28 attempts, 17.8%, or six of 29, 20.7%.

A sixth of Foles' completions went to Lesean in his first extended play ever. Vick incidentally has completed 30 passes to Lesean this season, just over a sixth of his completions.
