Well, it's Dallas day.  I'll be cracking open the first beer shortly, making a giant pot of chili for company, and patiently waiting for 3:15 to arrive when I walk down to the game.  I said it yesterday, and I'll say it again.  These players owe it to Andy Reid to come out and actually play hard for a game.  They owe it to him to win one last Dallas game in front of the Eagles fans.  He's covered their butts and gave them chances when logic dictates you should be on the bench (I'm looking at you Celek, who needs to be benched for a game or at least a start of the game).  Shame on every one of them if they come out flat again.

Now that it is game day, and people are more fired up and excited about our Eagles, does anyone think we can actually make a run?  As much as I think it is impossible for us to make a run, I expected the Eagles to be 4-4 and go 6-2 in the 2nd half.  With how bad some players are playing, I don't think 6-2 is going to happen, but we aren't far off from where I expected us to be at this point.  I expected a loss to Baltimore and a win against Arizona, so those washed.  The only other game that didn't break how I expected was the Falcons game.

I'm 100% focused on beating the Cowboys.  But I have to say this.  If the Giants somehow lose to Cincy this afternoon, there is every reason to be fired up and excited about the Cowboys game (other than wanting to beat those Cowboys).  The division won't be settled.

i cant remember the last time we played the cowboys with such a feeling of defeat before they even kicked off. we need a drastic change in the offensive scheme and a passionate performance from the D for this team to even have a chance in this game. sticking to our current play calling is not going to get it done.
