Bottom line.......The O-line played better, even when Vick was in the game, still missed some easy blitz pickups though. There was improvement.
Foles played very well considering he was thrown into the game without any 1st team reps in practice this week. You could tell it hurt on some plays because the timing was off but with a full week of practice reps and going against a weaker defense in Washington, I think he'll get better.
I didn't expect Nick Foles to just jump right in and all the sudden become Aaron Rodgers. I thought he might look solid but still make some mistakes. He is a rookie playing in his 1st real game and Dallas is still a very good team on defense.
The Dez TD looked like the ball rolled a little on the ground. Regardless, they probably still would have scored from the 1 yard line. But actually I didnt see the interference on DRC. Was it obvious? I didn't see the replay and just saw them both diving for the ball.
All it took was 2:35 for the game to turn. You got the Dez TD, then the punt return TD and the int return for a TD of a bobbled catch and suddenly it went from being up 7 with some momentum to being down 14 just like that. All it takes is 1 or 2 plays to totally turn a game around.
Tough loss and I really think we're done but at least we get a chance for revenge in 3 weeks when we play them again. By then, we'll be out of the playoffs and can at least play spoiler.

I thought Bryant TD was not going to be overturned. Great job by Bryant on the dive and catch

Good for you, Dave.
I didn't think it was interference (I rarely do, the asinine, ticky-tack way it is called today), but I thought the catch was good (actually great), and should not have been overturned.

Oh well...it doesn't matter...it was a 2 for 1 special, thanks to the "crew" on that play! If the Romo 3rd and 4 scramble was the turning point, that Dez TD was the back breaker!
All it has done for me is make the "Catch Rule" in the NFL more confusing to me. I understand if your hands are around the ball, BOTH hands, and it hits the ground, then it is a catch. . . .Both of Dez's hands were NOT around the ball...forearm and hand. I'm tired of the "catch rule" in the first place. It is so subjective.
That is all.

ish happens every game, don't allow a guy like Felix Jones who is known for not being able to break tackles, to break 6 tackles on a td pass, or a punt return TD by a guy who makes Reno Mahe look like Devin hester and kick an extra point and you win the game. I hate the way PI is called, but DRC wrapped his right arm around his waist...and yeah it was ticky tacky, but earlier in the game Romo missed Austin on a crossing route where Austin would have scored a TD (there was nobody behind him), but the 3rd CB just mugged him 20 yards down the field coming out of the break...it happens and all evens in the long haul.
bottom line is the refs screw up, but you should never leave it up to the refs.
