I think that may be it.  Would make sense to end it now, cause it's not like they're going to make the playoffs or even finish 9-7.

Tomorrow a new era begins.

Put Reid out of his misery and can him tomorrow -- this team is beyond hopeless

Bowles can be the intern HC, did it before in Miami.  I think it will take one more blow out loss (coming up next week) to do it though.  Problem is Marty is 100x more scary then Andy as your HC.  Marty is the biggest joke of a OC I have seen.  Him and Mike Martz really should hang out.  They are brutally bad.

Or you could see if you could bring in someone as an "advisor."

Lurie will let Andy ride it out until the end of the year.  Then, I expect Andy to announce that he has decided to step down to spend time with his family.  Then, I expect Andy to suddenly take the Chargers job when Norv is eventually blown out.  I would prefer for them to let Andy go before the end of the season just to shake things up.  But, I don't see them giving Marty the interim gig and if Bowles were to be the interim HC, then who would be the DC?  Washburn doesn't want to be a DC.

This game wasn't Reid's fault, but that doesn't mean his run in Philly isn't over.

well if they're not going to fire andy now they're not goin to give foles a chance to play unless vick is out for a long time...reid isn't going to just give up on his job and put foles in knowing that he won't be the coach next year for him

I want Reid, Washburn, Marty, Mudd and April all gone and just have one HC run it till the last game - players like these need no coaching - they need babysitters!

Honestly, this whole season is his fault. This is the team he built and coached for 14 years. This is his gameplan with the said team. It's on him.

I would rather they wait and find someone they plan to roll with from here on out. None of that interim BS

Reid not finishing out the season one way or the other would not shock me, but if I had to put money on it, I'd say he does.

Andy will ride out the season. Then the ENTIRE coaching staff will be fired.

The entire coaching staff is an abysmal joke. There is not one coordinator or assistant worth keeping. They need an entirely new coaching system and philosophy.

Get a grip.  The guy is the winningest coach in the team's history and has been here 14 years.  He's not getting canned mid-season.

Fair enough, but you're speaking big picture.  Tonight specifically doesn't fall on Reid and that should be clear to anyone who watched the game.  I'll concede that my point is pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things and your post is absolutely correct.  I just didn't want to see people blindly trashing Reid again because of THIS game.  Dallas benefited from a lot of flukey **** late in the game.

No one on the team is trying.  NO ONE.  That is from lack of motivation which is a coaching problem.

If I'm a GM or owner looking for a new coach, I wouldn't touch Reid with a 10 foot pole. I think he's peaked as a head coach, and he has proven that he can no longer be trusted to put an adequate staff together. You know that wherever he goes he's probably going to bring Marty in as his OC, which is already strike 1. San Diego would be stupid to hire him, as their previous hires (Marty and Norv)  have been two former retreads who couldn't get it done, so that formula clearly hasn't worked for them. Reid needs to transition to college football, where he could take over a program and throw the ball 60 times a game and no one would care.

All of you idiots that want Reid out of here better be aware of what's on the other side.  News Flash: Gruden is NOT a great coach!  He won a Super Bowl with Tony Dungy's players.  The only reason people want him as the Philadelphia Head Coach is because he is an "in your face" coach.  I don't think Gruden would be the answer anyway.  Andy is the best coach the Eagles have ever had.  I know that may pain some of you but it's the truth.  Just like McNabb is the best QB we've ever had.

it's been a good run for andy, .600 winning percentage is pretty damn good.  i'll remember the sting of losing late in the playoffs more than anything else though

It would shock me if he's cut midseason with the respect Lurie has shown for him in the past.  Honestly, I would rather let him walk at the end of a lost season, get a better draft pick as te team continues to fail and let the new coach - whoever that may be - get a small leg up on his new tenure.

It appears all three phases of the game, offense, defense and special teams and the players who represent them have quit on the team.

I think Staley should stay.  I also wouldn't mind seeing Castillo come back next year, as offensive line coach :)  I would also love to see Moronwhig as interim coach this year just so he can further discredit himself and hopefully never get another job in the NFL again.

At least 7 more years until the Eagles have enough drafted talent and quality coaching to become a contender again.

Gruden won't be the coach next year.  If Lurie stays true to his word and Reid is gone we'll have a positional coach or a coordinator become the next head coach.  Let's hope it's Horton.

Oh and 3-6 is a horrible record.  This team plays with no heart and no motivation which falls squarely on the coach.  Reid is most definitely NOT the best coach this team has ever seen.  He beat up on a weak NFC early in his career and hasn't done squat since the league figured him out.

I agree with all your points, and as bad as ^ sounds, i'd definatley be open to that. although i really doubt he'll be hired on as any important positional coach based on his performance here this year.
