This team is bad on a lot of levels but that 2:35 minute stretch where we gave up 21 unanswered was unreal...  I mean, first of all, can we get the replacement refs back?  Our record was decent with them out there... These guys can't even see a WR dropping a ball in real time and on replay... three blocks in the back on the PR TD... WTF

That being said, it all started with the defense missing Romo 4 times on that would-be sack that turned into a 30 yard gain.  That was a defining moment of this season - Fletcher Cox - the much hyped number one pick, just has Romo in his sights and totally whiffs, then Jenkins, Babin and I guess Cole all take turns diving and failing to stop him from getting the pass off.

This D-Line is so overrated at this point.  I think it all starts in training camp - Our O-line is so bad and undersized and that is who they practice against all summer, so they really don't get work in against quality players.  If you can't win in the trenches, you can't win...  Steel sharpens steel - all tired cliches, but so true with this team.

Also, since Juan got canned, there has been a noticable drop-off in team tackling performance.  Maybe there was something to the "Juan-damentals"...

Not many positives out there - Foles showed some signs of life back there, but still you can't deny he put up 16 on offense and they scored 14 while we were on offense so that ain't that great either - expected from a rookie, but still... WRs gotta help him out too... falling down out of their breaks getting hit in the head with the ball.

We've had a great opportunity the last 2 weeks with Giants and rest of the division losing and we come up with nothing - so frustrating - sad part is the Giants will probably keep losing and it won't matter because we stink.

Be nice to the refs.  They're helping us get rid of Reid.

The team is built too much on speed.  They fly to the ball on defense but don't seem to have any idea of containment.  When they get close to the player they're trying to tackle, they need to slow down just a bit and stay in front of them.  It's why they wiff on tackles so much.  The defense did play alot better as the game went on.  That play where Cox just missed Romo and someone else did too........that was a killer.  Believe it was 3rd down and they would have punted.

You're right though.  We are up 7 and gaining some confidence.  Then in the next 2:35, Dez scores a TD.  Ok, no big deal, we're still tied up and the D was playing much better.  Then you get the punt return for a TD.  Then the bobbled pass turns into a pick 6.  We go from up 7 to down 14 like that.  It's really just 2 plays in the whole game, the punt return and int return that totally changed everything.
