From what you think he did well or poorly today, it's better to judge him on next week.

He will have a full week of prep
the game plan will be more crafted towards his skill set
the Redskins pass defense is awful.

We will discover more about Nick Foles this week.

The only downside to a good Nick Foles performance.

i gotta say i was impressed.. he hasnt worked with first teamers since preseason.. a week with all the reps could be great for him..

he did look nervous at times.. but hes a rookie coming into a division game. so i say the future could be bright

True. But, even next week won't be enough time to judge him. Foles is a rookie...a work in progress over a course of weeks...if not a year or so.

Most of the time that is true. But, if Foles plays well and plays the rest of the season, then he should be in the mix next year.  Also, it depends on the system the new coach runs.

andy knows he is gone after this year

he lets mike finish out the year and audition for a new job next year

he wont bench vick for the "future" that he isnt gonna be apart of anyways

vick sucks he has no future he is done as a starter in the nfl he never was anything more then averge. mike had 10 years to audition it was not pretty..Its time to move on to Foles he is already a better qb then vick ever was.

See where Foles is at the end of the season......once there is actually a body of work to consider......a couple games isn't nearly a big enough sample to even guess with.

You really can't evaluate Foles until he gets a real line in front of him . One starter left and he's dinged up . With the poor play in the trench , it'll be impossible to judge him and maybe a miracle just to keep him alive .

Vick is done as the eagles starting qb the only way reid even has a shot at keeping his job is Foles. Vick will miss atleast 3 games with this cuncusion it was a bad one Just like Brady Quinns .So Reid will ride Foles no matter what he won't have a choice and by the time Vick is ready it won't matter.

Foles had 3 turnovers (1 nullified by penalty) so how is he way better than Mike Pick?
Foles should start every game for the rest of this season.
That's the only way to see if he's good or not.
Remember, Kolb was the first QB to pass for over 300 yards in his first 2 games, and Kolb sucks Kock.

Hard to say about avant but looks to be a few weeks as well  ..And no I am not a loser sitting in my basement I am a 43 year old Dr that has his **** together though. I don't take life for granted I enjoy it everyday just like we all should I have 3 kids one 19 one 18 and my oldest was 22 who was just killed in a car wreck on his way home from work .Worst day of my life. But life has to go on so no I am no loser sitting in my basement I am a man of faith and love my family so people like you really can't change the man I am.

I know inside your a great guy who just loves the eagles like the rest of us and thats a good thing so you can't be all bad right?
Just give Foles a chance its ok to move on from Vick we really have no choice he wont be here next year.

Let's see Foles will go out there and throw for 400+ yards on the 31 ranked Washington Def, then another on the Cowboys.... Vick will some how get his job back and at the end of the season they can trade him for 2 first rounders to Arizona!!!!!

two andrew luck games this season.

Kevin Kolb threw for 300 yards first two starts.

Brady first two passer ratings were 79.6 and 58.7, and got blown out in both games.

Foles needs a lot of games before we can judge him.
