7 more games to go and it feels like it's going to take 7 months to end it. 7 more long, painful games to go. I have zero confidence that another win will come this year... not that another win will matter. Denfense stinks, Special Teams Stink, PAT's stink, Offensive Line Stinks, Coaches Stink....
stink like the Cowpukes picked up some of the cow poo they stomp around in and slung it at us and smeared it in our faces.
How do the players feel? How can they get themselves up to play another game when they gotta know... they stink. When they know, they're GOING to lose.
I get ready for game time pretty much feeling like this is going to be ugly. 156 PF's makes them 4th worst team in the league at this point for Offensive scoring.
12th worst in points allowed. They have one of the worst defenses.
The Saints were said to have a bad defense. The Redskins are statistically better than the Saints in Points allowed. So we know how this is going to go next week.
A long season of pain still to go....
A long offseason of pain is waiting for us....
A long rebuilding era is still to come after a regime change....
It's depressing!!!!

Here's some good news, with Vick's injury we should get to see Nick Foles this week and know whether or not to look for a QB in the draft.

This season was over before it began, sadly. I had high hopes for this season. But they haven't won since before the Pitt game and have looked down right pitiful. Andy Reid is going to "resign" at the end of the year. But we all know it will be Lurie telling him to go out that way with some dignity. I just can't wait for it to be over. But i have closure now and can just watch football and not be mad anymore. I stopped after the ATL game.

It has already been a long season which is only going to get longer. This team is pathetic. But at least Andy will hopefully be fired at the end of it and we can rid ourselves of Michael Vick as well.

To the OP:
It's not depressing. It's the beginning of a new era....the sun light is just starting to slightly brighten the cold dark eastern sky. The winter thaw is starting. Spring time is coming. I look forward to watching Foles take these last 7 games as a launch pad to prove he can be the man going forward. I hope he gets that chance. No pressure. No lofty expectations. Let the preface to the new chapter begin!

As hard as it is, we just have to be patient.
In 2004, teams beat the crap out of Eli and the Giants. He made his mistakes and it has paid off.
