You disagree? i know you like the guy, your past pimping of him over Desean is legendary, and I don't deny his talent. But come on man. Enough already. Soft as the Stay Puft Marshmallow man, pre-Gozer influence of course.

I think he may be too soft too.  I hate the scheme and the routes that they have the WRs run.

I thought he short armed the one slant, but otherwise I thought he played well. I like Maclin a lot. Good player who is open much more than he gets the ball.

Sounds a lot like Freddie Mitchell (who they selected instead of Reggie Wayne).

At this point, I am numb.  It doesn't sting anymore.

I wonder if Reggie Wayne would have been a bust in Philly or if Freddie would have been a HofFamer with Peyton opposite Marvin.

I agree. When I see Maclin I think of a really good Pinkston. Which pains me, to say the least, considering Nicks was on the board.

Sounds like my feeling towards the Eagles in general, circa 2007.

The former is a pretty good bet, and the latter isn't completely out of the realm of possibility.

Maclin was the consensus second best WR in that draft, can't blame the Eagles for picking him up. But he does get nicked up more than Desean it seems and Djax is like 5'9 and 90 pounds or something.
