I'm not wishing anything bad on Vick, but I hope we get to see Foles again next week. I also love the Gruden mention in this article....for obvious reasons.
grats on the first post, Frenchy

RUN THE BALL
Shady only gets 16 carries...avg's 5.1 ypc....
There was a few shots that Foles took that made me cringe...thank God he got up. I say put Trent in for the rest of the way and save our young QB !!!

Reminding you, I was in favor of having Foles start the season at QB. Yes, I think he has potential, but his development has to be governed and managed. To me, that means having a super solid ground game as the primary ( although tedious) offense--and Foles isn't required to make big plays--just manage the game.
Against, the Cowboys, it seems that MM just panicked when the ST squad gave up that big play TD. Rather than settling into a steady offense and letting Foles "manage"...MM went off the reservation as usual...placing Foles in the role of playmaker. MM's calls required longer duration pass protection and required Foles to dodge incoming pass rushers and take some hits. I think it was unnecessary. MM had plenty of clock left to settle into field position football and slowly get his offense toward the opponents endzone.
Spadaro makes some great comments about DANA BIBLE and BOBBY HOYING. Managed by Gruden, Hoying was a viable NFL QB. Playing for a collegiate OC ( Bible), Hoying struggled.

They can't block, and they sure as hell can't tackle. Romo's scampering around for instance.
I thought Jackson should have caught the intercepted throw, other "Great Receiver's" do it all the time !
The punt return was a clear clip (not called), don't let me get into the officiating.
Foles is the future and I think with protection he will be a great one.

Agreement that Vick and Aso are cap casualties. Aso could renegotiate. Vick? I completely respect his physical courage and talent. I am too frustrated by his lack of discipline and not adapting his play for the good of the team.
I'd go forward with Edwards and Foles and be 100% fine with them as the starter and back-up.
Guys like Patterson ( & Juqua Parker) make huge difference to the DL. This DL lite and wide-9 experiment has run its course. DeMeco Ryans is my Defensive Player of the Year. These is still much that is good and/or great about the roster.

Is this whole Vick concussion thing a farce to get the future QB some reps ?......I didnt see any hit really that looked devastating (like the Cutler and Smith who got smarched)?
Nice to FINALLY see a fade to Cooper ......Where the F is Dion and Polk?....Kendricks jersey from Santa please......Cant wait to see Foles wit a Week of prep time .......Loss yesterday was ANOTHER nail in da box for ARs crew ......Gruden...really? ....i dont see it happening

Rebuild with character (if you can it these days) over the most talented on paper. That didn't work out too well.
