I should know better, being 50 and a life long EAGLEs fan, you would think I would know not to get my hopes up, but I got sucked into all the preseason RAHRAH and once again only left with a duh feeling.. Even thought I'd watch a few Gnats games and see a real team play, what do they do but start losing, My gnats friend don"t want me watching games with them anymore cause I"m now carrying/spreading the eagles virus.. Such is life..

as we always say and have said,,  THERE'S ALWAYS NEXT YEAR....... GO EAGLES!!!!!

Thats how it always is here in PA.  We get sucked in every year with hope and every year we get left down.  Im 36 and have faint memories of the bowl against the Raiders.  Mostly just memories of my pap and uncle being very pissed off.  Anyways i've been watching and understanding this game for nearly 30 years  and in those 30 years we may have had 4 or 5 seasons with little or no pre-season expectations.  Every season its the same thing.....We can certainly be called the Philadelphia "Paper Champion"  Eagles...

The eagles are playing exactly like I expected....maybe even a little worse.  

13 years........now 14......nothing has changed.  Why did anybody expect this team to change?

I realize free agency, the draft and the prospect of a new season gets people excited, but the eagles have the same problems year after year.  I just don't understand how anybody would expect things to be different this year.

Hmmmm ???? You didn't expect anything to change going into this year and this is exactly what you expected because of the prior 13 years ????

The prior 13 years consisted of..................
*more regular season wins then every team in the NFL except 2
*more 10 win seasons then every team in the NFL but 2
*more division titles then every team in the NFL but 2
**more playoff appearances then every team in the NFL but 2
*more playoff wins then every team in the NFL but 2
*more CCGs then every team in the NFL

And you think this is normal for a Reid team ??? What the hell have you been watching for 13 years ???

Listen, I want Reid to move on after this year also. But christ, the guy hasn't done anything but win and get his teams to the playoffs and advance in the playoffs.
You people talk like he was the a bad coach.
