Remember when everyone wanted him a last offseason(namely the great Ray Didinger)?

Dude was a worse signing than Babin. He's done nothing for Atlanta.

Eagles fans wanted to give him 25 million guaranteed.  Unbelievable.

Most people with a brain saw this coming. He was the beneficiary of Jared Allen double teams and the Williams wall.

Pretty sure most fans on here wanted Babin. There were those that wanted Edwards for sure, but I recall quite a few commenting on him being the 4th best lineman on his team

His signing was easily Thomas Dimitroffs biggest blunder. He doesn't have very many but this one was big. Edwards was Fing useless. His 2 biggest plays for the Falcons were fumble recoveries that were forced by other players that he couldn't even take into the endzone. We cut Jamaal Anderson then re-signed him to a bigger contract, basically.

First off let me say, "thanks Andy Reid for all those good years". To all Eagle fans the end of a good era is pretty much over. Time to rebuild a Super Bowl team not just a NFC championship team. If it was up to me McCoy and Maclin would be the only two with guaranteed positions.

First off...huh
Secondly you're not guaranteeing a spot for at least Jackson and Foles much less Cox and a handful of other guys?

I haven't read a lot of Didinger's stuff but from what I have read he seems like a better historian of the game than an evaluator of talent currently in the NFL.
But yeah a lot of people saw this coming.  I didn't want him because he just never produced like you'd expect a player should with the Williams wall and Allen taking all the attention.  HE had that one good game against the Cowboys in the playoffs and that was pretty much it
