And it looked like a block in the back to me too. Can't wait to get rid of these replacement refs!

Completely agree, and sadly so did Mike Pereira, but when they called a phantom pass interference it basically didn't matter. It was either going to be a TD, or 1st and goal from the 1.

To the OP - yes there were 2 blocks in the back - the first is almost excusable that it wasn't called but the 2nd was egregious and the fact that there were 2 and neither was called is just totally inexcusable - I hope Andy sends tape to the league pointing it out - it won't change the result but these refs need to be coached.

Actually there was 1 incredibly obvious block in the back.
1 that is called most times and then a 3rd 1 that was borderline.

I'm sure you didn't have a problem with any of the questionable calls the Eagles got. How come you're not upset about them?

True! It's obvious that McBriar is loyal to a team that cut him after nine seasons of dedication. I mean, why else would a 33-year-old punter who is notorious for laying the wood on returners not simply shed a block and dive head-first into the returner?
It's just another part of the grand NFL-wide conspiracy to keep the Eagles away from the Lombardi. Like, last year when Liquid Steve Smith handed the ball to a Giants DB, or week one of this year, when the NFL unfairly made the Eagles play the starters on the Browns defense and a bunch of TATErs made threads about it.
Yes, no excuses at all. This team would be 9-0 right now (28-0 since the start of last season) if not for that pesky conspiracy.

I said the same thing. I said there should've been a block in the back.

These are people that still don't understand the rule changes. Reid couldn't challenge that. If he would've challenged it, the review would've been stopped and the Eagles would've been flagged. People need to understand that all scoring plays are now automatically subject to review and there's no need for a challenge.

And people need to shut the hell up about McBriar on that play.
#1 - If he would have moved closer to the sideline to try and push the returner out of bounds, he could have easily cut back inside and still scored (plus the returner had a lead blocker).
#2 - 10 other special teams players missed

To be fair, even if he planned on throwing it, he wouldn't have been able to.
He autographed it right before halftime and gave it to a fan in the front row in exchange for a couple delicious slices of Papa John's Obamacare-Free Pizza.
